Jilin Notre Dame mountain was built in 1920 ad, and the holy church was built in 1928. It was purchased and prepared by father courser, the foreign missionary Church in Paris, France. At that time, the image of Madonna was vivid, kind and amiable. In 1920, the church priest guruose bought the mountain and built the Notre Dame cave and church. It was destroyed in ten years of turmoil. During the cultural revolution, Notre Dame mountain in Jilin Province was seriously damaged, the holy hall, cave and holy image were all destroyed, and the whole Notre Dame mountain was razed to the ground.

Mount Notre Dame of Yishui Wangzhuang

Mt. Notre Dame of Yishui Wangzhuang is located in Xiawei Town, Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. In 1884, German priest Bu was transferred to Wangzhuang, and a Gothic cathedral was built in 1893 (Guangxu 19), named Jesus universal King's hall. It is 39.10 meters long, 17.10 meters wide and 26 meters high, with a total area of 669 square meters and can accommodate about 1000 people.

In 1905, because of the blessing of the Virgin Mary, the Wangzhuang church headed by father Fraser turned the corner when it was attacked by the broadsword congregation. Father enboren (the architect of the mission, once planned to build a three Hall Gothic church in Qingdao.) Under the leadership of the Church of Notre Dame, a Romanesque church was built on the hill where Notre Dame appeared

The two well preserved centenary churches are now under provincial protection. In May 1999, the pilgrimage to mount Notre Dame in Wangzhuang of Linyi Catholic Diocese was resumed. In 2000, under the leadership of bishop Fang Xingyao (from Linyi City), 14 large-scale outdoor relief sculptures were rebuilt. On May 12 of that year, with the help of father Gao Changde of Jinan, father Bu consecrated them. In 2002, the diocese raised more than 300000 yuan, which was undertaken by Qufu ancient architecture to restore the Centennial Lord Jesus Catholic Church. In 2005, for the development of red tourism, Xiawei Town Committee raised millions to repair the ancient buildings attached to the church compound, afforest mount Notre Dame, build a large mount Notre Dame square, and invite calligraphers to sign for mount Notre Dame. A winding step road leads directly to Notre Dame hall.

In 2007, father Benbu led his congregation to erect statues of Jesus, Mary, Joseph and father Fraser, and set up a dedicated mass platform in the west square of Notre Dame church before the 2008 pilgrimage Festival. In the spring of 2009, with the help of the village construction team, father Bu led the academic affairs group and the church members to raise more than 100000 yuan to rebuild the nearly dangerous Notre Dame church. The roof was completely replaced, the main beam was reinforced, the inner wall was leveled, the floor tiles were laid, and the most important thing was the restoration of the clock tower that was blasted in 1941. A stainless steel cross with a height of 3 meters stands on the clock tower. The statue of the Virgin was also restored. The windows were also replaced with rain proof arched plastic steel windows. Fourteen relief grass ornaments on both sides of Mount Notre Dame road make pilgrims feel relaxed and happy.

Surrounded by mountains and shaded by pines and cypresses, Mount Notre Dame in Wangzhuang is really a beautiful scenery. Therefore, it has also become a good place for art school students in Qufu, Linyi and Rizhao to sketch from life. The cherry introduced by the German priest has now developed into a ten thousand mu cherry orchard. Mt. Notre Dame in Wangzhuang has a unique background, including Austria, Beijing, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hebei and other places. Many pilgrims at home and abroad are attracted by it.

Yishui niuxin Notre Dame mountain

Mt. niuxin of Yishui has a history of more than 130 years. It is 12 kilometers northeast of Yishui County in Shandong Province. Because more than 90% of the people in niuxin village believe in Catholics, it is one of the earliest and largest places for Catholic activities in Yimeng area. There are Notre Dame church, Catholic Church and "Fourteen places" where Jesus died. On May 13 every year, Catholics from Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian and other parts of the country pay homage to this church.

Niuxin Guanzhuang Catholic Church has a history of more than 100 years. Niuxin Guanzhuang is located 12 kilometers northeast of Yishui City, with convenient transportation and elegant environment. Around 1901, German priest Wen went to Yishui city to preach. The villagers in this village were attracted by the charity of the Catholic Church, and the number of Baptists was increasing. Later, under the leadership of Hou LAN, the president of the village, all the villagers were baptized. The original church was five thatched cottages. After the church in the village 1.5 kilometers south of niuxin mountain built Notre Dame church. In the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), a magnificent Catholic Church, church and its houses were built in the middle of the village, a nunnery, a pharmacy for western medicine, a preaching school, a kitchen, a dormitory, and a primary school. In the late Guangxu period, niuxintang district has become the second main hall district after wangzhuangtang District in Yishui County, and seven foreign priests have successively presided over the educational affairs. In the Republic of China, after years of war and tension, foreign priests were withdrawn one after another, and Chinese priests were responsible for the educational activities. In 1958, the Catholic Church and Notre Dame church were destroyed, and the clerical activities were not gradually restored until 1978. In 1988, three Notre Dame churches were rebuilt. The Catholic Church was also rebuilt, with 8 churches and 13 rooms. In 1993, the diocese raised funds to rebuild 14 large open-air buildings. In May 2004, the Notre Dame hall on the top of the mountain was rebuilt, 24 meters long, 12 meters wide, 33 meters high, with 5 rooms. Niuxin village is a well-known religious village in Linyi Parish, and also the cradle of nuns' holy calling. Most nuns serve the churches in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and other provinces. The Catholic Church cemetery of Linyi parish is located on Mount Notre Dame. After many years of planting trees and flowers, the virgin mountain has been afforested. Today, a winding mountain road leads directly to Notre Dame hall, with large "14 places" of grass on both sides of the road.

In the autumn of 1901, thousands of people with swords and fists rushed to niuxin Catholic Church from Caohe, Juxian County, and clamored to burn the church and kill foreigners. The church members advised father Wen to take refuge in Wangzhuang. Father Wen said he would never abandon his sheep. In a hurry, he took his followers to hide in the South niuxin mountain, a village full of pines and cypresses. Soon, niuxin mountain was surrounded by groups, without food and water. After being trapped for several days, only a can of rice was left. So, father Wen led his parishioners to recite the rosary enthusiastically and called on the Virgin Mary for help. According to folk legend, the miracle, so many people eat, a full can of rice Leng is not reduced. One morning, the attack was imminent. All of a sudden, the members with swords threw away their armor and fled in a panic. Some also yelled: "you see, there are many soldiers on the mountain, all wearing white clothes. I didn't expect that Catholicism has raised so many soldiers. Run!" Father Wen and his followers knew that it was because of the help of the Virgin Mary and the revelation of the angels. Therefore, with the permission of the Pope, the Church of Notre Dame was built on niuxin mountain, named as the Church of Notre Dame. Since then, Mt. niuxin of Yishui has been officially established.

Mount Everest in Huzhuang

Huzhuang Notre Dame mountain is located in Huzhuang village, Pingyin County, Shandong Province. Although it is a small village, the history of Catholicism has been extended for more than 500 years.

Notre Dame mountain is located in the west of the village. It is said that Notre Dame appeared to the villagers and nuns on the mountain many times, so in the Ming Dynasty, several chapels were built on the mountain to thank and worship Maria.

In 1895, Maria appeared again, so the German priest raised money to build a cathedral on the mountain: Notre Dame chapel in Jianshan. The cathedral was first built in 1750, with a cross shaped hall, which was rebuilt in 1889. It was destroyed by lightning in 1927 and rebuilt in 1928. It was designed according to the Gothic style of Notre Dame in France. During the cultural revolution, it was severely damaged, leaving only remnant walls and broken walls, but its reputation still exists. The project started in 1988, started in 1989 and completed in May 1990. It was not until 1990 that Zong Huaide and Fu Tieshan made Notre Dame church famous again.

Mount Notre Dame, Lude, Jilin

Notre Dame mountain in Lude, Jilin Province, is located in the suburb of Jilin Province. Commonly known as Notre Dame cave, it is located at 206 Huashan Road by the beautiful Songhua River. It is a place for Catholic activities. In the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), the French foreign missionary priest guroser bought more than 48000 square meters of mountain land and built the Notre Dame cave and church. In 1986, bishop Li ruowang, the Diocese of Jilin Province, borrowed all his savings for the reconstruction of Mount Notre Dame. Every time the Virgin Mary Christmas, the church members get together and put up a shed to perform, which is very lively.
