It was built in July 1958. In the middle of September 1942, the Japanese army carried out a large-scale "nibbling" and "mopping up" to the qiongwen Anti Japanese base in order to transfer troops. On September 17, the second detachment of QiongYa independent Corps ambushed and attacked the Japanese army.

When the Japanese army vehicles entered our ambush area, our independent Corps suddenly opened fire, hit hard and made a quick decision. In less than an hour, more than 40 Japanese soldiers were killed, two military vehicles were burnt down, and more than 30 long and short guns were seized. The victory of this battle enhanced the confidence of the whole Qiong army and people in winning the Anti Japanese war.
