Liangshan Yi Slave Society Museum is the first National Museum in China and the only special museum reflecting the slave society in the world. It is not only a living teaching material for the study of slavery society, but also a collection of Yi cultural relics in China. There are seven exhibition halls in the museum, which comprehensively and systematically introduce the political, economic, military, cultural and folk forms of Liangshan Yi slave society. Among them, the ancient Yi cold weapons on display and the only folk weaving machine left by the Yi people in Liangshan are worth seeing. Here you can learn about the history of the Yi people and the extraordinary years related to the Red Army.
