Night talk Pavilion
Lianquan and Yehua pavilion are famous historic sites in Ganzhou City. They are now located in the campus of Ganzhou No.1 middle school.
Lianquan has a history of more than 1500 years. It is said that Su Dongpo was demoted to Huizhou during the Shaosheng period of the Northern Song Dynasty for opposing Wang Anshi's political reform. When passing by Ganzhou, Su Dongpo visited Yang Xiaoben, a famous hermit at that time. They were very opportunistic. They visited local places of interest together and had a long talk all night by Lianquan water. Su Dongpo also wrote a poem: "the nature of water is clear, not clear or scratch it. If you look at this Lian spring, you will find "five color rotten mani". Later, people built a night talk Pavilion beside the spring. In the pavilion, a stone tablet more than 2 meters high was erected, engraved with "the picture of two Duke of Suyang talking at night". This stone tablet is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.
