Yinqueshan bamboo slips museum is located in the south of Yinqueshan bamboo slips, Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is a national AAA tourist attraction and the first Bamboo Museum of Han Tombs in China.
Yinqueshan Han tomb Bamboo Museum covers an area of about 10000 square meters, with a construction area of 2400 square meters. More than 7500 bamboo slips with pre Qin military books as the main content were unearthed from the No.1 and No.2 tombs of the Western Han Dynasty in the collection, including the art of war of Sun Tzu, the lost articles of Sun Tzu, the art of war of Sun Bin, weiliaozi, Yanzi, LiuTao, thirteen articles on abiding by the law, fifty articles on politics and military affairs, and other miscellaneous books on Yin and Yang, seasons, zhanhou, xianggou, zuozao, etc. This archaeological achievement has been rated as one of the 100 archaeological discoveries of the 20th century and one of the nine "treasures of Zhenguo" in China.
Since its opening, Yinqueshan Bamboo Museum of Han Tombs has received party and state leaders such as Jiang Zemin, Zhu Rongji and Wen Jiabao to visit the museum.
Development history
There are large-scale Han Dynasty Tombs in the ground of Yinque mountain and Jinque mountain, mainly in the Western Han Dynasty, and from the Warring States period to Tang, song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was discovered in 1964. From 1972 to 1986, more than 100 tombs were excavated, most of them in the early Western Han Dynasty.
In April 1972, two ancient tombs were excavated in Yinqueshan, designated as No. 1 and No. 2 tombs in Yinqueshan. The tomb site is excavated on the rock, which is a rectangular vertical hole, with a coffin and a coffin. There is a partition in the coffin, one side is for the coffin, the other side is for the side chamber, and the funerary objects are placed in the side chamber. In particular, Sunzi's art of war and sunbin's art of war, which were lost for more than 1700 years, were unearthed at the same time, which solved the eternal mystery of whether Sunzi and sunbin were one person and whether their military books were one or two. The unearthed bamboo slips of Han Dynasty are famous all over the world, shocking both at home and abroad. They are as famous as "Mawangdui" and "terracotta warriors" and are listed as "one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in New China".

The museum was completed and opened in October 1989. It is surrounded by pine, cypress, flowers and bamboos, surrounded by long corridors, and complemented by mountains and rivers. There are three exhibition halls in the Museum: Yinqueshan Han tomb hall, bamboo slips exhibition hall and cultural relics exhibition hall. In the center of Yinqueshan Han tomb hall are the restored tombs No.1 and No.2 of the Western Han Dynasty. After the burial objects are copied, they are placed in the coffin according to the original state. The four walls of the oval exhibition hall are enlarged photos of the excavation site and unearthed bamboo slips. More than 7500 bamboo slips were unearthed from the two Han tombs. The bamboo slips of tomb No.1 contain 13 chapters on the art of war of Sun Tzu, 16 chapters on the art of war of Sun Bin and five lost articles; the bamboo slips of tomb No.2 contain the annals of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. The bamboo slips unearthed from the Han Tombs in Yinqueshan are of great value to the study of Chinese military history, philology, ancient phonetics, ancient bamboo book system and ancient calendar.
The bamboo slips exhibition hall is located on the first floor, which is divided into the exhibition hall of Sun Tzu's art of war and the exhibition hall of Sun Bin's art of war. The exhibition combines pictures and objects to show the audience the unearthed bamboo slips of two military books, the combat practice of Sun Tzu and Sun Bin, the weapons of the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, and the latest research achievements of Chinese and foreign experts and scholars.
The cultural relics exhibition hall is located on the second floor. It displays the cultural relics unearthed from No.1 and No.2 Han tombs and some fine cultural relics unearthed from more than 100 Han Tombs in Jinque mountain and Yinque mountain since 1970, including pottery, lacquerware, silk paintings and Han Dynasty stone reliefs. It also displays imitation ancient weapons such as spears, spears, halberds, crossbows, copper swords, copper arrowheads, etc., as well as warships, watchtower chariots, stone throwing machines, ladder, pottery cauldrons and bronze tripods . Among them, silk paintings of the Western Han Dynasty are precious cultural relics. It is the only silk painting of the Western Han Dynasty unearthed in the north of the Yangtze River. The painting is rectangular, 200 cm long and 42 cm wide. It is outlined by red thin lines and flat painted in red, blue, white and black. The main content of the picture is divided into three parts: Heaven, earth and underground. There are sun and moon in the sky, golden crowns in the sun, toads and jade rabbits in the middle of the month; there are three fairy mountains in the world, Penglai, abbot and Yingzhou. In front of the mountain, there is a building with a lady sitting on the right, three maids standing in front of it, and another woman kneeling in front of the hostess holding a container to offer. From then on, several groups of life scenes of the characters appeared in succession, including music and dance, welcoming and seeing off guests, weaving, asking for medical advice, Jiaodi performance, etc., which showed the life scenes of the tomb owner, such as daily life, banquet and tour. This is the first silk painting found in the north of the Yangtze River in China after the silk painting unearthed from the Han tomb in Mawangdui, Changsha, Hunan. It is not only a precious art treasure, but also of great significance to the study of ancient funeral system, myths and legends and religious thoughts. This also fully reflects that the Chinese folk painting art at that time had reached a very high level.
