Xianqiao night moon is located in Donghai Town, across the East China Sea. It is the main road connecting the old and new markets in Lufeng County. It was built in 1524, the second year of Baoyou in the Southern Song Dynasty, when it was a wooden bridge with thirteen holes. According to the records of Lufeng County, "the southern gate of the city is between the old and the new ruins, with 13 caves in length. It was built by Xiao Taifu, the magistrate of Jiayin County in Song Baoyou. "Folk legend has it that after the bridge was built, the bridge God was rampant. It got its name in order to pray for the gods to enlighten and welcome the immortals to come to the world for the benefit of exorcism. In the early years of the reign of emperor Xi of the Tang Dynasty, it was destroyed and rebuilt because of war. Yongzheng four years (1726) was washed off by floods, rebuilt as stone nine hole pier type flat bridge, 68 meters long, with stone railings. In the eighth year of Qianlong reign (1743), the stone railing was broken and repaired with wooden board. On the Dragon Boat Festival in the ninth year of Qianlong (1744), 17 people were drowned because of crowding and damaged wooden railings. After reuse stone column repair. In 1934, the bridge deck was rebuilt into a reinforced concrete structure, 4.9 meters wide, and the piers were retained. In 1969, the bridge deck was expanded and strengthened. The width of the bridge deck was increased to 8m, and one hole was filled at each end to form a six pier and seven hole flat bridge. In 1990, the whole bridge was demolished and rebuilt into a three hole large stone arch bridge with a width of 20 meters and stone railings on both sides of the sidewalk. "Xianqiao night moon" is one of the eight scenes of ancient Lufeng.
