Brief introduction to ancient tombs
Yanbulak ancient tombs are densely arranged. Among the unearthed cultural relics, there are a lot of pottery, such as single ear beans, abdominal ear pots, double ear pots, etc. the decorative patterns of painted pottery are s pattern, vertical line pattern, cloud thunder pattern, and double hook pattern, which are consistent with the similar types and decorative patterns of Xindian culture and Siba culture in Gansu Province. The surface of the cemetery is gravel layer, the second layer is Rao Luan layer, and the opening of the cemetery is mostly under the second layer.
Layout structure
According to the shape of the tombs, the tombs can be divided into three periods: early, middle and late. The early period is roughly equivalent to the early and Middle Western Zhou Dynasty, the middle period may be traced back to the late Shang Dynasty, the middle period may be equivalent to the late Western Zhou Dynasty and the middle and late spring and Autumn period, and the late period may be equivalent to the middle and late spring and Autumn period.
Cultural characteristics
Seven pieces of iron ware were unearthed from yanbulak ancient tomb, which were also found in the early tombs. The early tombs were mainly Mongolian, and the middle and late Caucasian gradually increased. The ironware unearthed from yanbulake ancient tomb is earlier in China, which reflects that there is a certain degree of connection between the archaeological culture and Gansu and Qinghai areas. It is more than 30 kilometers away from Wubao ancient tomb, and the age difference is about 300 years. There are also great connections in cultural characteristics. All these provide important clues for the study of the development sequence of bronze culture in eastern Xinjiang.
