Moska is located next to Jinlong snow mountain in Danba, Sichuan Province. It is a gorge of Hengduan Mountains. It spans Ganzi and ABA states. Moska is a plateau pasture in Jinchuan, Daofu and Danba counties. Moska village is 4300 meters above sea level and surrounded by three sacred mountains, integrating snow mountain, forest, grassland, Haizi and glacier. Moska village is like a poetic habitat. Under the leadership of the spiritual leader of Jinlong temple, RI Gong living Buddha, the herdsmen live an isolated and poetic life. Moska people are waiting for this pure land. In the transcendental beauty, people and wild animals live in harmony, unconsciously reaching the perfect state of "harmony between man and nature".

Moska village belongs to Dandong Township, Danba County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
In December 2018, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development, together with the Ministry of culture and tourism, the State Administration of cultural relics, the Ministry of finance, the Ministry of natural resources and the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas, proposed to include Moska village in the list of the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages on the basis of recommendation from all provinces (autonomous regions and cities) and review by the expert committee.
On June 6, 2019, it will be included in the list of the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages.
