Inner Mongolia Art Museum

Inner Mongolia Art Museum was first built in 1957. In 1992, the government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region decided to demolish the old art museum and build a new one in the original site. It was completed and officially opened on April 16, 1997. In 2015, the new Inner Mongolia Art Museum was relocated and started construction as a key project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The main project was capped on September 31, and officially opened on August 4, 2017. The museum is open to the public free of charge.

Inner Mongolia Art Museum is located in xibazha Airport Road, Saihan District, Hohhot city. Inner Mongolia Art Museum is the only place in the autonomous region to collect Chinese and foreign art works, carry out art academic research, and display plastic arts in the face of the society. At the same time, it is also an elegant art exhibition and Activity Center for mass cultural activities. The newly-built Inner Mongolia Art Museum is an independent legal entity, an autonomous regional institution with full funding, and the competent department is Inner Mongolia Federation of literary and art circles.

Inner Mongolia Art Museum

Since the opening of the new museum in 1997, the Inner Mongolia Art Museum has carried out many art, calligraphy, photography and various exhibitions. In addition, classes and lectures on various arts have been held.

There are exhibition hall, multi-function hall and art activity room in Inner Mongolia Art Museum. The exhibition hall is 1800 square meters, the exhibition line is 300 meters long, the multi-function hall is 150 square meters, and the activity room is 180 square meters.

The exhibition hall is equipped with modern anti-theft monitoring system, smoke fire alarm system, water curtain spraying, gas fire extinguishing system, complete picture frame, exhibition board, activity display rack, negotiation table, audio-visual and audio-visual equipment, etc.

Inner Mongolia Art Museum now has a collection of more than 400 pieces of art, calligraphy and photography works of domestic and regional famous artists.

Inner Mongolia Art Museum consists of Exhibition Department, academic research department, office, propaganda and education department and education department.

Project development

Inner Mongolia Art Museum mainly carries out the following activities:
