Most of the private collections from the chairman of the Council of mercy hall, feianda, are on display at the mercy Hall Museum. Mercy hall building
The mercy hall building, where the mercy Hall Museum is located, was built in the 18th century and was rebuilt in 1905. In 2005, part of Macao's historical city was included in the world cultural heritage list.
Collection
The museum's collections include: ceramic utensils bearing the emblem of the Jesuit Church, the original manuscripts of the historical document "the statute of mercy Church in Macao", the bronze bell of the white horse hospital, some sacrificial articles and statues of Catholicism and other cultural relics. These historical relics reflect the activities of Catholicism in Asia and its derived cultural characteristics. In addition, the Museum of mercy hall also stores the full body portrait, skull bones and funerary cross of the founder of mercy hall Jia nailao (the first Catholic bishop in Macao).
