The first sequence hall and the fifth exhibition hall combine the hall style with the through style, adopting the grand scene and panoramic style, seeking refinement in details and liveliness in form. Make the display cabinet, cultural relics, lighting, color and the whole space unified and harmonious, match properly, and serve the theme. It is not only concise but also focused.
Dunhuang historical relics exhibition, a city of Huarong fair, displays 147 pictures of Dunhuang manuscripts, nearly 100 pictures of Dunhuang murals, 266 pictures of Dunhuang historical sites, and more than 1000 cultural relics.
Preface hall: preface, relief sculptures with the theme of "the city of Huarong fair", distribution map of Dunhuang and its surrounding cultural relics, chronology of Dunhuang ancient events, and evolution table of Dunhuang's historical system. This paper mainly introduces the prehistoric civilization of Dunhuang. The activities of Qiang Rong, Wu sun and Yue clans, the early inhabitants of Dunhuang, and the activities of Huns in Dunhuang brought the audience's emotions into the ancient times of Dunhuang.
Exhibition hall 1: the great development of Dunhuang in the Han Dynasty
The Han Dynasty is a new era of Dunhuang history. It can be divided into two groups: the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty. Through a large number of plates, together with the unearthed cultural relics, it shows the prosperity of the Silk Road in the Han Dynasty. Let the audience enjoy the spectacular scene of silk trade and merchants gathering in the Han Dynasty, and deeply understand the military, political, economic and cultural development of Dunhuang in the Han Dynasty. It truly reproduces the magnificent scenes of production and life of Dunhuang people in the Han Dynasty and the eastward spread of Buddhism.
The second exhibition hall: the continuous development of Dunhuang in the Wei, Jin, southern and Northern Dynasties
The Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties is a very important historical period in Dunhuang history. It is characterized by abundant unearthed cultural relics, which reflect the prosperous culture of this period through the unearthed tiles, military utensils and daily necessities. The artifacts unearthed in this period are also very distinctive. The exquisite tomb pot, the colorful chicken head stove, the bronze crossbow machine used by the ancient frontier officers and soldiers, the pottery warehouse reflecting the real life of the ancient times, and the gorgeous silk all bring people into the Sixteen Kingdoms period.
The third exhibition hall: the prosperity of Dunhuang in Sui and Tang Dynasties
The Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties are the most glorious period in Dunhuang history. Social production, economy and culture reached the peak. Dunhuang has become an important transportation hub between China and the West. The unearthed precious cultural relics, such as pearl, go, jade, pottery, camel pulling figurines, fully illustrate the historical facts of Dunhuang Tang Dynasty as an important town of Shang and Fu, an international market, and a gathering of Hu merchants. The Five Dynasties is a special scene in the history of Dunhuang, and the economy and culture come down in one continuous line with the Tang Dynasty. The important historical events such as Tubo's rule over Dunhuang, Zhang Yanchao's regime of Guiyi army, Jinshan kingdom of Western Han Dynasty, and Guasha's regime of Cao family all add a lot of color to Dunhuang's medieval history.
The fourth exhibition hall: Tubo and Five Dynasties and song, yuan and Ming Dynasties
The exhibition focuses on the history and culture of Xixia to the audience. The overall exhibition reflects the style of Xixia and shows the rugged and bold character of Xixia nationality. After the Song Dynasty, with the decline of the Silk Road, the prosperous economy and culture of Dunhuang began to decline since the Han and Tang Dynasties. During the yuan and Ming Dynasties, the Mongol and Yuan governments managed Dunhuang effectively, making Dunhuang the gateway to the western regions open again, and Dunhuang's economy and culture flourished again.
Exhibition hall 5: the development of Dunhuang in Qing Dynasty
Since Yue Zhongqi, governor of Sichuan and Shaanxi Province, emigrated 56 counties in Gansu Province to build counties, he used cultural relics and pictures to show the audience the development of Dunhuang in the Qing Dynasty and the discovery of Sutra caves, which truly reflected the social outlook of Dunhuang in the Qing Dynasty. This paper mainly introduces the Dunhuang manuscripts collected in Dunhuang Museum, which can stimulate people's patriotic enthusiasm, express the feelings of the Chinese people in building the motherland and revitalizing China, show the artistic charm of Dunhuang studies, and enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of the Chinese nation.
