Turuke rock painting is located on the metamorphic phyllite on the East Bank of yidaowan, Kanas Lake. The bedrock has formed a special geomorphic landscape -- yangbeishi by ancient glaciation, and the rock painting is attached to it.
Now rock paintings are divided into two parts. The first rock painting is in the polished groove on the back of yangbeishi. Most of the rock paintings are vague, with only a few patterns showing animals such as hedgehog, wild boar, goat and Snowcock. The second rock painting is on the small scarp on the back of yangbeishi, with most of the patterns clearly visible. The main contents are animals such as horse, sheep, wolf, dog, deer and Snowcock. The largest one is the pattern of sika deer, with antlers upward and eyes overlooking the front. It looks leisurely and contented. This exquisite and beautiful rock painting is a true portrayal of nomadic life.

Now the rock paintings are divided into two parts, with an interval of more than 50 meters. The first rock painting is in the polished groove on the back of yangbeishi, covering an area of 3 square meters. Most of the rock paintings are vague, with only a few patterns showing animal shapes such as hedgehog, wild boar, goat and snow chicken. The second rock painting is on the small scarp on the back of yangbeishi, covering an area of 110 × 94 square centimeters. The patterns are mostly clear and visible, with two rows up and down, eight in the upper row and nine in the lower row, The content is mainly composed of horses, sheep, wolves, dogs, deer, snow chickens and other animals. The largest one is sika deer, with its size of 23 × 10 × 8 cm, antlers upward, eyes overlooking the front, leisurely and contented. The whole rock carving technique is exquisite, simple and beautiful, which is a true portrayal of nomadic life.
