Changshan ancient temple is a temple in Hong Kong. It is located in pingche, Fanling, new territories. The existing structure was built in 1868, the seventh year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. It has become a statutory historic site in Hong Kong since 1998.
Changshan ancient temple was built in 1789 by the villages in daguling district. It was originally named Changsheng temple, which worships Buddha, Guanyin and dizang king. The mountain path opposite the temple was the only way to and from Shatoujiao at that time, so Changshan ancient temple was once used as a place for tourists to rest and provide tea.
In the seventh year of tongzhi (1868) of the Qing Dynasty, Changshan ancient temple was rebuilt and changed into the current two-way design.
