Legend of five girls
There is a true love story in Xitang. In the late Qing Dynasty, Miss Wu, a landlady of the Yang family in Tangdong village, fell in love with Xu a Tian, a long-term worker. She was opposed by her half brother and persecuted to death. Later, her love story was compiled into Tian Ge, which has been sung here for more than 100 years. The musical "five girls" adapted from Jiashan Tiange won the Wenhua award of the 7th China Art Festival.
In order to express his unique love for the five girls, Xu a Tian made a tile to build a pavilion. There is a bell in the pavilion, which is engraved with the scene of their meeting here and the words of love at first sight.
