Yuzhu nunnery
Taoist nunnery. It is located in the middle of Laoshan Mountain in Laoshan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. According to the stele documents, song chongru, a Taoist, traveled here in 1589. He saw that the mountains were emerald, the rocks were beautiful, the pines and bamboos were luxuriant, the springs were murmuring, and the environment was very secluded. So he built a Taoist temple and carried green bamboos to surround the forest. So he named it "Wei Zhu Temple", which was rebuilt during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.
