Shuzhenggou

Shuzhenggou is located in the lower branch of the "Y" layout of Jiuzhaigou scenic spot (the left branch is zechawa Valley and the right branch is rizegou Valley). From Goukou to NuoRiLang waterfall, the total length is about 14km. There are more than 40 Lakes (Haizi), accounting for about 40% of all the lakes in Jiuzhaigou scenic area. This is the entrance of Jiuzhaigou. You have to go through shuzhenggou to get in and out. In peak season, there is a long queue waiting for tickets, so you should get up as early as possible.

Shuzhenggou

Shuzhenggou is the main gully of Jiuzhaigou, which is the gate of the beautiful scenery of Jiuzhaigou. Sparkle sea is located between Shuanglong sea and Wolong sea. It is flat as a mirror on the blue water. Haizi is surrounded by dense woods, and the lake is covered in a lot of emerald, like a crystal clear emerald. Spark sea is 2187 meters above sea level, 9 meters deep, covering an area of 36352 square meters. The water is blue and sparkling. Haizi, which is hidden in the green, is like a crystal jade plate full of magnificent gold, silver and jewelry.

In summer, wild flowers are in full bloom by the sea. The dew on the flowers is crystal clear and glittering. It is interesting to see the sparks in the sea and has endless charm.

Shuzheng waterfall is located near Shuzheng village. It is the first waterfall group in Jiuzhaigou. A series of more than 40 Haizi stretches for 7 kilometers to form multi-layer steps. The water in Haizi on the upper step overflows from the edge of Haizi to form waterfalls, and then flows into Haizi on the next step. As many waterfalls as there are, there are as many waterfalls. The smallest drop is only one or two meters, and the largest can be up to 30 meters. NuoRiLang waterfall falls in multiple stages. The water curtain, 140 meters wide, flies out from the two mountains and falls straight down the cliff, forming a rare forest waterfall. Rhinoceros sea is the largest Haizi in Shuzheng Valley and the most changeable Haizi in Jiuzhaigou Valley. Its reflection is illusory and real, connecting with heaven, earth and woods.

NuoRiLang waterfall is characterized by its magnificence. With a width of 300 meters and a drop of 20 meters, the waterfall shows a multi-level downward trend and is one of the most favorite scenic spots for tourists.

Shuzheng Village

Shuzheng village is one of the most important lodging centers in Jiuzhaigou. From the small square in front of the village to the river valley and sea under the road, there are many tourists. Behind Shuzheng village, there is a high mountain with an altitude of 4200 meters, which is the most adored holy mountain of Tibetan people in Jiuzhaigou. In the eyes of Jiuzhaigou people, dageman mountain in shuzhenggou and Semo woman mountain in rizegou are the most authoritative gods worshipped by Jiuzhaigou Tibetans. Dagenan mountain is located in the northwest of Jiuzhaigou, and another Semo goddess mountain is located in the southeast, with the two mountains facing each other from afar.

It is said that Dage and Semo were lovers in Jiuzhaigou. One year, the snow mountain king destroyed the forests and lakes in Jiuzhaigou. DAGO went to the snow mountain to look for emeralds that can make mountains, forests and green sea. The king of snow mountain secretly gave him the ecstasy soup, which made him forget Semo and fall in love with snow princess, the daughter of the king of snow mountain. Semo's tears called him and moved the princess. The princess helped them find the emerald, and Jiuzhaigou restored its former beauty. Snow Mountain King to revenge, DAGO and Semo swallow emerald, into two mountains, blocked the snow mountain king's attack. Since then, the couple of Shenshan lovers have been guarding the forest and Haizi of Jiuzhaigou together, making the beautiful scenery of Jiuzhaigou remain in the world for a long time. People give thanks to DAGO and Semo. In addition to the regular worship during the mountain meeting, they come to offer sacrifices to pray for good luck during weddings, festivals or disasters.

Accommodation in scenic spots

No accommodation is allowed in Jiuzhaigou, and full price tickets are charged for the second entry. If you want to stay in the valley, so that you can continue to play the next day, you can try to discuss with the Tibetans to stay in the homes of the Tibetans (there are many Tibetan hotels in Shuzheng Village), but it is also very difficult, and the Jiuzhaigou Management Bureau is very strict.

Zhangzha Town, pengfeng village and Jiuzhai town can be considered for accommodation outside the ditch. It is not too far from the entrance of Jiuzhaigou scenic spot. There are star hotels, youth hostels and Tibetan wooden houses, and the accommodation conditions outside the ditch are much better than those inside the ditch.

Jiuzhaigou supplies are mostly transported in from outside, so the price of food is relatively expensive. In shuzhenggou, there are two places where food and beverage are concentrated: one is shuzhengzhai, where you can taste roast whole sheep, buttered tea, highland barley wine, dairy products (cheese, milk residue, milk skin and yogurt), yak meat, Cordyceps duck and other Tibetan specialty food; the other is at the "Y" intersection of Jiuzhaigou, where the buffet is served in the restaurant of nurilang tourist service center, with prices ranging from 40 to 140 yuan In addition, there are boxed meals nearby, about 15 yuan for each meat and vegetable.

You can also bring your own dry food and choose the time and place of your meal during the game. The advantage of this is that you can take a tour of the time difference, but also can fully enjoy the fun of the picnic. But remember to take the garbage away by yourself, don't destroy the natural environment of Jiuzhai.

If you want to buy souvenirs or tourist gifts, you can shop in pengfeng village and Bianbian street outside the ditch, Jiuzhai ethnic cultural village in Shuzheng village inside the ditch, and NuoRiLang tourist service center. You can buy Qiang embroidery, Tibetan knives, Tibetan ornaments and other souvenirs, as well as Sichuan Fritillaria, Sichuan Cordyceps, Zanthoxylum, Auricularia, fern and Maowen apple and other local products.

Route recommendation

After entering the ditch, take an environmental protection sightseeing bus or walk. It is recommended to carry anti high altitude reaction products to prevent high altitude reaction.
