Ma'anshan promenade
Ma On Shan Waterfront Promenade (Ma On Shan Waterfront Promenade) is a public open space located on the northwest coast of Ma On Shan, New Territories, Hong Kong.
It is constructed by the civil engineering and Development Department of the Hong Kong government at a cost of about HK $25.3 million in three phases. With an area of about 5.2 hectares, the promenade is a 3.2 km long strip of land extending from Ma On Shan Park in area 100 of Ma On Shan to Jintai court in area 77. It is the second large promenade in Sha Tin District and the first park equipped with environmental protection facilities by the leisure and Cultural Services Department. The formal opening ceremony of Ma'anshan promenade was originally scheduled to be held on October 11, 2010, but it was postponed to October 18 due to rain.
