Xianghai Cihang is located in San Dietan, laowei village, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. It is commonly known as Chuanmiao. As the name suggests, it is a Taoist temple with unique architectural features.

history

The temple was founded in 1960. It is reported that Xianghai Cihang was originally luzu Daochang, because master kuanzong was friendly with Taoism. One day, a fellow Taoist priest asked for divination and was appointed as the abbot by Lu Zu. Master kuanzong then transformed Daotan into lanruo and vigorously developed it. Therefore, Lu zufei's zhenyinghua altar is still located in Cihang of Xianghai to record the events of that year.

Architecture

The appearance of the temple is like a treasure raft, and its architectural appearance is similar to that of fishing boats in the South China Sea.

A statue of Guan Gong stands at the bow of the boat to protect the Dharma, and a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva stands at the stern of the boat to treat all living beings with kindness.

The front cabin is the memorial hall of Zen master Xuyun, in which there is a memorial tower of Zen master Xuyun dedicated to the three treasures of Buddha.

There are masts and flags flying.

The temple is mainly dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva, with the name of "Xianghai Cihang" and the meaning of universal salvation. There are also two statues of Guanyin in the hall, one in white and the other in black.

The middle cabin is the memorial hall of kuanzong, the founder of Kaishan, in which the Dharma Minister of kuanzong is worshipped. On the memorial hall of kuanzong master, there is a Zhen Ying Hua altar dedicated to Lu zufei.

The back cabin is yuantongbao hall, which is dedicated to Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and dizang Bodhisattva.
