Development history

Jinan Paomaling wildlife world is located in the southeast of Jinan City, Shandong Province, 40 kilometers away from the city. Paomaling is famous for its troops training in Wude period of Tang Dynasty. With an average altitude of more than 700 meters, lush forests and beautiful scenery, it covers an area of more than 30000 mu, and once had the reputation of "little Yunnan" in history. It is adjacent to Mount Tai, a famous mountain in China, to the South and the Yellow River, the cradle of the Chinese nation, to the north. Together with the oldest stone pagoda of Sui Dynasty in China, simenta, Wohushan Reservoir Scenic Area and jinxiuchuan scenic area, it forms a circular tourism belt with rich cultural landscape. According to Licheng county annals of the Qing Dynasty, "the cliffs and cloud peaks on both sides of the Strait are like a picture screen, and the pines and cypresses are hidden in the stone gap; the bird island is singing like a mirror; the wild flowers in the spring stream and the red leaves in the autumn forest are like brocade." In 1992, it was designated as a national forest park by the Ministry of forestry of China.
