Historical evolution
In March 1911, Hangzhou secondary business school was founded in huangshiyuan lane, Mashi street, Hangzhou. It was funded by Mr. Zheng Zaichang, a gentleman. The length of schooling was two years of preparatory course and three years of undergraduate course.
In August 1912, it was renamed Zhejiang public secondary business school. The school is still located in huangshiyuan lane, Mashi street, Hangzhou.
In the winter of 1913, it was renamed as Zhejiang provincial business school of type A. the motto of "honesty, perseverance, diligence and simplicity" was formulated. The length of schooling was changed to one year of preparatory course and three years of undergraduate course.
In March 1914, the school moved to Ping'an Qiaotu in front of Hangzhou Gongyuan (part of the former Zhejiang two normal schools, now Hangzhou high school).
In August 1923, it changed its name to Zhejiang provincial business school, cancelled the preparatory course and implemented the five-year system and credit system.
In the spring of 1926, it was renamed Zhejiang provincial business vocational school.
In July 1927, he exchanged school buildings with provincial No.1 middle school, moved to the former site of zhidafang No.1 Middle School (now the site of Zhejiang medical No.2 Hospital), and began to recruit female students.
In the autumn of 1928, it changed its name to Zhejiang provincial senior business school. It moved to the Yingong Office of old Qiantang Road, Puchang lane, and its educational system was changed to three years. It recruited junior high school graduates.
On May 17, 1929, it merged with the high school departments of provincial No.1 middle school and No.2 Middle School to form Zhejiang Provincial High School (business), with Jiang Menglin as the principal.
In August 1933, it was renamed Hangzhou senior high school (business) in Zhejiang Province.
In July 1937, he moved to Suoyuan, Jinhua; in December of the same year, he moved to Bihu Town, Lishui.
In May 1942, he moved to Nantian Town, Qingtian County.

In the autumn of 1970, it was put under the leadership and management of Hangzhou Revolutionary Committee and changed into Hangzhou normal school.
On August 7, 1973, the Zhejiang provincial Revolutionary Committee approved the approval of the Zhejiang Provincial Political Work Committee, and agreed to restore Hangzhou commercial school, which was named Zhejiang Commercial School and was led and managed by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province.
In December 1978, the Ministry of Commerce, Zhejiang provincial Party committee and Zhejiang provincial government agreed to take Zhejiang Business School under the direct control of the Ministry of Commerce, and planned to establish Hangzhou business school. In November of the same year, Minister Yao Yilin of the Ministry of Commerce visited the University and agreed to prepare for the establishment of Hangzhou business college. He also gave important instructions on the scale, specialty setting, teaching staff, teaching equipment, funds and other issues of the college and requested that it be submitted to the state Council for approval.
In May 1980, the State Council approved the establishment of Hangzhou business college (now Zhejiang Business University).
Zhejiang Business School was re established on July 12, 1980 with the approval of zhezhengfa [1980] No. 93 document of Zhejiang Provincial People's government, and merged with Zhejiang business cadre school (two brands and one team). The newly established Zhejiang Commercial School is a secondary professional school, which is under the leadership of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. In 1982, Zhejiang Business School resumed recruiting secondary school students.

In July 1986, Zhejiang Business School, Hangzhou business technical school and Zhejiang business cadre school were run separately. The school is located in Desheng Road, Zhejiang business cadre school is still in Jiaogong road. In December 1995, the branch of business department directly under Zhejiang TV University was established.
In February 1998, with the approval of the Provincial Education Committee, the provincial planned economy committee and the Provincial Department of labor, Zhejiang Commercial School, Hangzhou Commercial technical school, Zhejiang commercial cadre school and Zhejiang Radio and Television University Commercial Department branch were merged. In the same year, according to the overall deployment of the provincial people's government higher education park construction project, the school was constructed according to the "high starting point access, high standard" ”Therefore, the preparatory work of Higher Vocational and technical college should be started.
In December 1999, the reply of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government on the preparation for the construction of 20 vocational and technical colleges including Zhejiang electromechanical vocational and Technical College (ZZF [1999] No. 294) agreed to prepare for the construction of 20 vocational and technical colleges including Zhejiang Business College. During the preparation period, the name of the school was Zhejiang Business Vocational and Technical College (Preparatory). In preparation, the school has 3800 full-time students in the near future and 5000 in the long term. The preparation period is two years.
In January 2000, Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Commerce (Preparatory) was officially established. Leaders from Zhejiang Commercial Group Company, Zhejiang Education Committee and Zhejiang planned economy committee attended the ceremony. In the same month, all the teaching staff braved the severe cold to hold the foundation laying ceremony of the new school construction in Binjiang higher education park. In October, the opening ceremony of the new site of Zhejiang Business Vocational and Technical College (Preparatory) was solemnly held in Binjiang higher education park.
In September 2001, Binjiang New School was put into operation, which is divided into Binjiang campus and Desheng Road Campus.
In January 2002, the official reply of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government on the formal establishment of 18 higher vocational schools including Zhejiang electromechanical vocational and Technical College (ZJH (2002) No. 17) was issued, and Zhejiang Commercial Vocational and technical college was officially established. The school has 6068 full-time students and 397 teaching staff, including 177 full-time teachers. In July 2019, it was recognized as a national high-quality vocational college by the Ministry of education.
