Historical evolution
As early as the 14th year of the Republic of China (1925), the sub district of Asian Games village belongs to the northern suburb of Beijing. In 1947, it was established in seven districts of Beijing. From 1952 to 1956, it was returned to Changping County, Beijing. After 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of Datun Township, Wali Township and Xiaoguan sub district office of Chaoyang District.
