Mei Yutan

Meiyu lake, located in Xianyan street, Ouhai District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is a national AAA scenic spot. It is adjacent to the East China Sea in the East and more than 30 li away from Ruian and Wenzhou in the South and North.

All the mountains in Wenzhou belong to the continuous Yandang mountains. However, the Daluo mountain, which Xianyan belongs to, is far away from the mountains and is located on the Wenrui plain. The mountains are flat, the cliffs are steep, and the water is abundant. Although the area is less than tens of miles, there are many waterfall pools, especially near Xianyan in Ruian. There are three famous waterfall pools: Meiyu pool, leixiang pool and Longxu pool. Among them, Meiyu lake is the most distinctive.

Main attractions

From a distance, the waterfall of Meiyu Lake runs down; Meiyu Pavilion is located on a prominent boulder in front of the waterfall, which is very conspicuous. At first glance, it looks like "a goshawk floating in the sky with its wings" in "green". This pavilion is opposite to the waterfall. It was originally built by Zhang Fujing, a young master of Ming Dynasty. It was originally named Zerun Pavilion. Because you can enjoy the panoramic view of the waterfall by sitting in it, and as a building, it is perfectly integrated with the natural scenery of Meiyu lake, so it is renamed "Meiyu Pavilion" by later generations.

Tongyuan cave

There is a cave under the pavilion, which is called "Tongyuan cave". There is a stone dome door, next to which is engraved with four big words of "four seasons and plum rain".

On both sides of Meiyu lake, there are double cliffs, which are absolutely unattainable. The cliffs are covered with green moss and vegetation, showing a natural dark green color. The waterfalls gush out from the joint of the cliffs and roar.

The rocks on the cliff are quite angular, and the waterfall falls down like scattered pearls into the pool. The breeze blows and the water drops are like white plum blossoms.

Pool water

The pool water is very deep. The water drops, fog, green water and cliff form a wonderful and spectacular picture. Pan Lei in the Qing Dynasty in the "youxianyanji" said: "often if Meitian drizzle, it is called meiyutan." This spectacle makes Zhu Ziqing, who has been teaching in Wenzhou for less than a year, come here twice to "catch her magic light" and form an indissoluble bond with Meiyu lake. Someone carved a big "green" character beside the stone dome door of Meiyu Lake in memory of Zhu Ziqing's immortal masterpiece "green".

The splashing water, crystal clear and mischievous, from afar, looks like small white plum blossoms, drizzle like falling one after another. This is the origin of Meiyu lake

The word "Ju" shows the magnificence of Meiyu Pavilion, while the word "Fu" highlights the lightness of the pavilion

The second time I went to Xianyan, I was surprised at the green of Meiyu lake.

Meiyu lake is a waterfall lake. There are three waterfalls in Xianpu, and Meiyu waterfall is the lowest. When I got to the edge of the mountain, I heard the sound of flowers; when I looked up, I saw the white and shining water inlaid in the two wet black sides.

Let's go to meiyuting first. Meiyu Pavilion is facing the waterfall. Sitting beside the pavilion, you don't have to look up to see all of it.

Deep under the pavilion is Meiyu pool. The pavilion was perched on a prominent corner of the rock, empty up and down, as if an eagle were floating in the sky with its wings. There are many edges and corners on the rock; when the waterfall passes by, it makes a sharp impact and splashes like flying flowers and broken jade. The splashing water, crystal clear and mischievous; from afar, like a little plum blossoms, like a light rain falling one after another. It is said that this is the name of Meiyu lake. But I think it's like Yanghua. It's more specific. Light wind up, the little wind, it is more Yang Hua. By chance, a few points were sent into our warm arms, so we went in and couldn't find it any more.

The glistening green of Meiyu Lake attracts us, and we begin to chase her magic light. Holding the grass, climbing the rocks, carefully leaning down, and bowing through a stone dome door, we arrived at the edge of the pool. The waterfall is between the sleeves; but there is no waterfall in my heart. My heart swings with the green of the pool. The intoxicating green is like a huge lotus leaf, full of strange green. I want to open my arms and hold her; but what a delusion it is. Standing at the edge of the water and looking to the other side, I feel a little far away! This flat, thick green, really lovely. She wrinkled loosely, like the skirt of a young woman; she played gently, like the beating heart of a virgin in her first love; she was smooth and bright, like "bright oil", as soft and tender as egg white, which made people think of the tenderest skin they had ever touched; she was not mixed with dust, just like a warm Jasper, only pure color - but you can't see through her ！ I've seen the green poplar in Shichahai, Beijing. It can't get rid of its yellow base. It seems too light. I have seen the high and deep "Green Wall" near Hupao temple in Hangzhou, with endless green grass and leaves, which seems too thick. For the rest, the West Lake is too bright, and the Qinhuai River is too dark. Lovely, what can I compare with you? How can I compare it? About the pool is very deep, so it can contain such a strange green; as if the blue sky melted into a piece in it, this is so fresh. The intoxicating green! If I can cut your belt, I will give it to the light dancer, who will be able to lift it in the wind. If I can lift your eyes, I will give them to the blind girl who is good at singing; she will have bright eyes. I can't bear you; how can I bear you?
