Anshun Confucian Temple

Anshun Confucian temple, also known as "Fu Xue Gong", is located in xiaoxueba in the northeast of Anshun City, Guizhou Province, covering an area of about 8000 square meters. It is a large-scale, rigorous layout, solemn and elegant ancient architectural complex. Confucian temple was built in the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (about 1368 A.D.), destroyed in the war in the second year of Tianqi (1622 A.D.), and rebuilt in the last year of Tianqi (1624 A.D.). After the Qing Dynasty Kangxi seven years (1668), Kangxi fifty-five years (1716), Daoguang seventeen years (1837) several additional construction, repair, to complete, the existing building 22. In 1982, Guizhou Provincial People's Government approved and announced it as a provincial cultural relics protection unit. There is a screen wall in front of the Confucian temple, which is like a huge screen. At the entrance of the Confucian temple, there are "Li gate" and "Yi Road", which are Chuihua gate. Between "Li gate" and "Yi Road", there stands a carved stone man and stone flower wall, which is called "palace wall". On the top of the wall, the four characters "palace wall several Ren" are inscribed. On the left side of the wall, a strip stone tablet is erected, which is engraved with "civil and military officials, military and civilian people get off the sedan chair here", which is called "dismounting tablet". Fu Confucian temple has four entrances. The first is divided into upper and lower courts. Except for the fourth entry, the other three entries are basically intact. As a result of building on the slope, four into the building also increased. From the main gate of the temple to the first courtyard, there is a half moon shaped pool, which is called pan pool. There is a three hole stone arch bridge across the pool. The first bridge is inlaid with stone dragon head or lion head, each overlooking the water. In ancient times, any scholar had to cross the stone bridge, named "You Pan". After the panchi bridge, you can see the Lingxing gate, which is a majestic stone archway. On both sides, there are buildings called Jiexiao ancestral hall and Minghuan ancestral hall, which are hard mountaintop style.
