Yuwangting museum is located 3 kilometers northwest of Yucheng City, covering an area of 136.5 mu. It was built in 1997 and opened to the outside world. The park is composed of a courtyard (including Yuwang hall, dongxipeidian, Zhonggulou, etc.), Yuwang Pavilion and artificial lake. Its structure is novel, compact, magnificent, simple and elegant. At the south end of the courtyard is a memorial archway gate. Above the gate is the handwriting of "King Yu Pavilion" inscribed by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Entering the mountain gate, there is a 6-meter-wide North-South Corridor with pines and cypresses planted on both sides. On the east side of the south end of the corridor stands a stone tablet, on which is engraved the inscription focusing on the repair of King Yu Pavilion; on the west side of the south end of the corridor, there are two stone tablets, engraved with the name of the donor and the name of the donor. In the north of the courtyard, there are 11 ancient style auxiliary halls on the East and west sides, and the north end of the corridor is a Yuwang Hall of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main hall covers an area of more than 300 square meters, with five bays in the west, double eaves, Xieshan and jiujiding. The total height is 16.7 meters, the length is 25.4 meters, and the depth is 15 meters. On the top of the main door and between the two eaves of the hall, there is a gilded plaque of "Yuwang hall". There is a couplet on the columns on both sides of the door. The glazed tile top and the seal painting are resplendent. In the center of the hall, there is a statue of King Yu, about 6 meters high. Behind the statue, the jade girl stands on both sides with a fan. Outside the north gate of the compound is a "Qiushan" (45 meters long from north to south, 50 meters wide from east to west, and 8 meters high). According to the old records, "Dayu built this mound to observe the water potential when he controlled the water.". In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the pavilion of King Yu was built on the mound. After years of disrepair, the buildings on the mound disappeared. The mound is now overgrown with weeds and trees. In 1974, archaeologists from shengdezhou City, Shandong Province, came here to investigate and found a lime soil layer. They also found some ancient cultural relics, such as single hole stone shovel, eggshell fragments, stone axes, pottery balls and pottery spinning wheels. Identified by Shandong Provincial Museum, these cultural relics are Longshan cultural relics, with mounds belonging to "Longshan cultural sites". In 1995, when the municipal Party committee and the municipal government invested heavily in the construction of Yuwang Park, a 15 meter high mound was built on the northeast side of the mound, which was close to the "juqiu mountain". Around the mound, cement frame blocks were used to stabilize the mound. In the south side of the mound, 64 steps were built with stones to reach the top. On the top of the mound, an 8-meter high octagonal pavilion was built, which is called "Yuwang Pavilion". The pavilion is supported by 16 red pillars and surrounded by wooden top walls. The story of Dayu's flood control is painted. The whole "Yuwang Pavilion" is magnificent. Standing in the pavilion, people can feel the scenery and cherish the memory of King Yu's achievements in flood control. Second, you can overlook the appearance of Yucheng City and witness the beautiful countryside around. In the southeast of Yuwang Pavilion, a 25 mu "Yuwang Lake" is excavated. The water depth is 2 meters and the bottom is clear. The weeping willows are dotted with the beautiful scenery of the lake. In 2000, the municipal government set up a cultural relics management office here to collect the city's folk steles, stone men, Stone Beasts, etc., and set up a forest of Steles for visitors to enjoy.

Historical story
It is said that in those days, Dayu guided the three rivers and dredged the nine rivers. In Yucheng, he built a mountain of soil and observed the water situation and looked at the water potential. According to historical records, the mound is "ten feet high, twice as wide", which is about 18 meters high. Later generations named the mound "juqiu mountain". Before the Tang Dynasty, the local people, in order to remember the merits of Dayu's flood control for the benefit of the people, filled the mound for several times, planted trees and grass, and set up a grass Pavilion in the mound to worship the throne of King Yu. After the construction of Yucheng County, Yuzhuo pavilion with brick and wood structure was built on the mound for the throne of King Yu. At the beginning of spring and Chongyang, the county magistrate and the people offered sacrifices to King Yu. From the Tang Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty, yuzhuoting was destroyed and rebuilt several times due to war and famine. In the fourth year of the Ming Dynasty, a squire surnamed Wu was expected to build Yuwang Pavilion at the former site of yuzhuoting, which was larger than the original Pavilion. In the 50th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, Cantonese Zeng Jiugao served as magistrate of Yucheng County. He raised money to rebuild yuzhuoting and renamed it yuwangting. There are 40 mu of sacrificial fields in juxtaposition, which are engraved with steles. Zeng Jiugao personally inscribed a plaque with "miraculous skill" for thousands of years, and wrote the inscription "Yu Pavilion record" personally. After leaving office, the people felt that he had made achievements in Yu, and also donated money to engrave a "qusi stele" to stand in Yu King Pavilion.
