Xinchengpu Shang Dynasty site is located 750 meters north of xinchengpu village. Before liberation, there were three big mounds, which were called "Chenggang" by the masses. Bronze wares were unearthed many times. Now there is only one mound in the middle, 32 meters long from north to south, 23 meters wide from east to west and 6 meters high. Local farmers found bronze, stone and pottery of Shang Dynasty several times. There are 15 bronzes unearthed from this site, most of which have inscriptions. On July 23, 1982, the people's Government of Hebei Province announced the Shang Dynasty site in xinchengpu as a key cultural relic protection unit.
