Weizeguan, formerly known as weizeguan, is located 45 kilometers northeast of Pingding County in Yangquan City. It is a famous pass on the Great Wall, known as the ninth pass of the Great Wall. Now the ancestral temple has been abandoned, and there is a Tang Dynasty book "tablet for praising jealous women", which is now stored in Shanxi Provincial Museum. The name of Niangziguan first appeared in Yuan Haowen's poem "you Chengtian Xuanquan", which has the sentence "Niangziguan is more strange". The unified annals of the Qing Dynasty compiled in 1764 is the first official document with the name of Niangziguan. There are many legends about the origin of the name Niangziguan. Gu Zuyu of the Ming Dynasty said in the summary of Fang Yu's reading history that when "women's make-up" passes through the ancestral hall of jealous women, "thunder and lightning will be aroused" and jealousy will be aroused, so it is called jealous women, and Niangziguan is named after it. In Yuanhe county annals, it is said that Jieshan's sister jiezitui of Jin State burned Mianshan in the spring and Autumn period, and later generations built a jealous ancestral temple for it. Another legend is that Princess Pingyang, the sister of Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, led Niangziguan to guard here and founded Guancheng, so this pass was called Niangziguan. However, none of these statements has a reliable history, according to which the Shitai railway was completed and opened to traffic. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Yangjing highway passing Niangziguan and Weijiu highway from Niangziguan to Jiuguan have been successively built, and the double track project and electrification project of Shitai railway have been completed. These transportation facilities are playing an increasingly important role in economic construction. Historical legend
Niangziguan has a long history. Weize county was set up here in kaihuang period of Sui Dynasty. Princess Pingyang, the elder sister of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of Tang Dynasty, once led the women's army to guard this pass, so later generations call it Niangziguan. It is said that Princess Pingyang has personally visited the battlefield, taken the lead in military affairs, and her military intuition and insight can be regarded as a genius. The whole army respects her and has strict military discipline. This army has been widely supported. People call Princess Pingyang "Lady Li" and her army "Lady Army". After the death of Princess Pingyang, Li yuante, Emperor Gaozu of the Tang Dynasty, made an exception to bury her in military ceremony. She was the only woman who was buried by the army in the feudal history of China. Niangziguan coexisted with her name and has continued to this day.

Guancheng was built in the 21th year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty (1542). There are two gates, the middle of which is a residential area.
