Afterglow of stone wall

Shuanghe village, Daixi Town, located at the westernmost end of Daishan Island, was originally a floating island, which was connected to Daishan island by a sea blocking dam built by hand. The famous specialties here are slate (strips) and glutinous rice shrimp. The stone of slate is fine and tough. After five or six hundred years of hard work by local residents, there are more than 50 stone scenes, including several large-scale grottoes. There are majestic and straight stone peaks, which are shaped like stone walls cut by knives; there are colorful stone curtains and clear stone pools, which are similar to the stone scenery of Shaoxing East Lake. When you enter the pond, you can see the clouds on the cliff, like the setting sun on the stone wall. Looking from a distance and near, it is spectacular. This scene is called "Shibi canzhao", which was selected as one of the ten scenes of ancient Penglai. The poet of Qing Dynasty once wrote a poem: the stone wall is murmuring, the shadow is falling, and the setting sun is shining clearly.
