Laiwu Campaign Memorial Hall is located on Huangshan Mountain in the center of Laiwu City, covering an area of 45000 square meters and a construction area of more than 8000 square meters. Laiwu Campaign Memorial Hall is composed of three main buildings: revolutionary martyrs memorial tower, exhibition hall and panoramic Gallery, which are arranged in the word of "product". The revolutionary martyrs memorial tower, 19 meters high and made of granite, is one of the 100 key monuments in China. There are five exhibition halls in the exhibition hall, covering an area of more than 700 square meters. The panorama is 17 meters high, 120 meters in circumference, 1100 square meters in shape on the ground. It simulates sound and natural light, and has an electric rotating stand. It integrates "sound, light, electricity and shape" into one. It adopts vacuum illusion, strict visual perspective and local exaggeration to create visual reality, which can create infinite reverie for people in limited space. historical background

The battle of Laiwu is a glorious example of mobile warfare in the operational history of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. It is one of the 100 classic battles in the world military history. The films "south and North" and "red sun" are all shot in the original form of the battle of Laiwu. The Laiwu Campaign Memorial Hall was rebuilt in 1997 on the basis of the former Laiwu revolutionary martyrs cemetery.

In 2007, in order to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Laiwu campaign, the former Laiwu municipal Party committee and government decided to invest more than 40 million yuan to comprehensively upgrade the Laiwu Campaign Memorial Hall. The title of the museum was inscribed by general Chi Haotian, former vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, State Councilor and Minister of national defense.

Since 2017, Laiwu Campaign Memorial Hall has been successively rated as "national patriotic education demonstration base", "national youth education base", "national key revolutionary martyrs memorial building protection unit" and national "AAAA" tourist attraction.

Exhibition Hall

The exhibition hall is composed of five parts: preface hall, pre war hall, campaign hall, front branch hall and martyr hall. The design concept is novel, the exhibition forms art, the exhibition content is rich, full and accurate, and the historical materials are complete.

Memorial Tower

The revolutionary martyrs memorial tower is located on the top of Huangshan Mountain, with a total height of 19.8 meters and a side length of 8.15 meters at the bottom of the square tower. It is made of granite from Mount Tai, symbolizing that the revolutionary martyrs who died in the Laiwu campaign are as heavy as Mount Tai. The seven gold-plated characters of "revolutionary martyrs memorial tower" on the outside of the monument are Mao Zedong's handwriting, while the inscriptions of official script on the inside are gold-plated. The flower decoration of the whole memorial tower is simple and generous, and the theme is prominent.

Panoramic Gallery

With a height of 17 meters, a perimeter of 120 meters and a floor shape of 1100 square meters, the panoramic Gallery simulates the actual combat scene, sound, natural light, etc., and integrates "sound, light, electricity" into one. It gives people a sense of being personally on the scene and soul stirring, with strong artistic appeal and high artistic appreciation value.

Memorial Hall

In 2011, the new martyr memorial hall, with a construction area of 1208 square meters, is composed of memorial hall, martyr memorial corridor and underground martyr ashes hall. After completion, it will further enrich the exhibition and education content.
