Ansai Cultural Relics Museum

Ansai cultural relics museum was established in 1949. In June 2004, it was awarded the second level museum by the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China. There are 17 employees, including 2 librarians and 9 assistant librarians. There is a comprehensive office building with a construction area of 2300 square meters. There will be monthly tutors in literature, fine arts, cultural relics, photography, music and dance, industrial development, etc. It is the national advanced cultural collective, the teaching site of Yan'an Cadre Management College of China, the Ansai life creation base of "loess painting school", the folk art teaching and research base of Xi'an Academy of fine arts, and the literature life practice base of Yan'an University. It is the ideological and moral education base for minors determined by our county. In 2006, it was awarded "national cultural industry demonstration base". Under the leadership and support of the county Party committee and the county government, Ansai County Cultural Relics Museum, while carrying out the mass cultural counseling work of the whole county, is mainly characterized by folk art. There are seven exhibition rooms including cultural relics display, folk paper cutting art, modern folk painting, peasant painting, art exploration, Ansai waist drum culture exhibition, library collection painting exhibition and achievement exhibition. So far, 19 training courses on folk art creation have been set up, and more than 10000 folk art talents have been trained. Four folk artists were invited to give lectures at the Central Academy of fine arts. More than 80 folk artists visited France, the United States, Germany, Austria, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, New Zealand and other countries, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In 1996, the Provincial Department of culture awarded Cao Dianxiang as a master of folk arts and crafts, and Hu Fenglian and other 11 folk artists as "folk arts and crafts artists" and "folk arts and crafts artists". In 2001, China Paper Cutting Research Association declared 13 Chinese paper cutting masters to UNESCO, among which Cao Dianxiang, Bai Fenglan, Gao Jinai and Bai Fenglian from Ansai County were among them. Currently, it has a collection of more than 12000 paper-cut works, more than 1500 modern folk paintings, more than 300 stabbing works and more than 300 kneading works. They have participated in 15 provincial and national competitions and won more than 100 awards, including 11 gold and first prizes, 18 silver or second prizes, 30 bronze or third prizes and 48 excellent prizes.
