Hami Museum, founded in 1988, is located at 360 Guangdong Road, Guangzhou. In June 2002, the south Guangdong cultural center, which was built with the help of Guangdong Provincial People's government, moved in. The museum has exhibition hall area of more than 800 square meters and warehouse area of 300 square meters. There are more than 12000 pieces of stone tools, bronzes, pottery, wood, iron, woolen cloth, Qing Dynasty costumes and mummies from the primitive society to the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the museum. Among them, 17 (categories) are national first-class cultural relics, which can be divided into stone age, bronze age, Han and Northern Dynasties, Sui, Tang, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties in the way of general history display It also includes two special displays of Wubao and yanbuake with unique cultural features. There are more than 1000 pieces of cultural relics on display in the exhibition hall, including Wubao mummies, exquisite ancient woolen cloth, bronze cauldrons and deer head knives belonging to the northern bronze culture. Most of the exhibits are unearthed from archaeological excavations over the years, with strong local cultural characteristics. The exhibition design of the museum has been comprehensively updated, which is at the first-class level in Xinjiang.

Development history
The Hami regional museum was founded in 1988. At the beginning of its establishment, it implemented two brands and a team with the original management office. In June 2002, he moved to the Nanyue cultural center, which was built with the assistance of Guangdong Provincial People's government. In July 2002, according to the spirit of Hadi document [2002] No. 29, he established the "Hami cultural relics bureau" and the museum, which were merged into the Nanyue cultural center. In 2004, according to the spirit of the document [2004] No. 34, the museum restored its independent legal personality as a section level institution, which belongs to the Bureau of culture and sports of Hami region. Now the new Hami museum is located in the South Ring Road of Hami City, which is an important cultural tourist attraction in the region.

It presents the ancient civilization of Hami in the form of general history and small topics. More than 800 cultural relics are displayed in the exhibition hall. The fourth floor is the exhibition hall of Hami social and economic development achievements, covering an area of 940 square meters. It mainly displays the major events and brilliant achievements in Hami since the reform and opening up 30 years ago. With a total area of 4896 square meters and an exhibition area of 2800 square meters, the museum is mainly used to hold exhibitions of Xinjiang Muqam art, Hami Muqam art and Hami Uygur folk and folk culture. In addition, the exhibition hall of nature and history of Yadan Geopark in Wubao, Hami covers an area of 200 square meters. It mainly displays more than 100 cultural relics unearthed from aiskexia cemetery, which serves to enrich the local new rural cultural construction.

Hami Museum has more than 10000 pieces of artifacts from primitive society to Ming and Qing Dynasties, including stone tools, bronzes, pottery, wood, wool textiles and mummies.
