Tianjin Institute of Finance and Economics

In 1958, based on the Economic Majors of Nankai University (Department of trade, enterprise management, accounting, finance, finance, statistics, etc.), Hebei University of Finance and economics was established by gathering a group of strong teachers in the field of economics from universities in North and Northeast China.

On October 1, 1969, the school was under the leadership of Tianjin city and renamed Tianjin University of Finance and economics.

In 1979, the school began postgraduate education.

In 1981, it became one of the first batch of master's degree awarding units in China.

In 1987, he was granted the right to confer a doctorate.

In 1996, with the approval of the State Education Commission, the University became an institution that can recruit MBA students, and has the right to grant the master's degree to the in-service personnel with the same level of postgraduate education.

Tianjin University of Finance and Economics

On May 17, 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of education, Tianjin University of Finance and economics changed its name to Tianjin University of Finance and economics.

In 2006, Tianjin University of Finance and economics and Guangdong Zhujiang Investment Co., Ltd. established Zhujiang College of Tianjin University of Finance and economics in accordance with the mode and mechanism of independent college.

In 2010, Tianjin University of Finance and economics was selected as the national "characteristic key discipline project" construction university.

In June 2016, Tianjin University of Finance and economics, Beijing Business University and Hebei University jointly established the "Beijing Tianjin Hebei University Business collaborative innovation alliance".

In July 2017, Tianjin University of Finance and economics became one of the first batch of "Silk Road" Chinese government scholarship project entrusted training institutions.
