Among them, the national protected animals are tiger frog, python, three line shell turtle, pangolin, otter and kitten. There are 86 species of birds in Mt. Malan, and there are 12 species of birds under national protection.

According to the regulations on the administration of Shenzhen basic ecological control line (order No.145 of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government), the overall planning of Malan mountain country park is within the scope of Shenzhen basic ecological control line; according to the notice on re dividing the surface water source protection zone of drinking water in Shenzhen, the water source protection zone within the management line of Malan mountain country park is within the scope of Shenzhen basic ecological control line The area is 1.115km2. The monitoring results show that the ambient air quality of Malan mountain is good, in which SO2 and NO2 reach the first class standard concentration of the national ambient air quality standard, and PM10 reaches the second class standard concentration.

It is said that it is the largest plum garden in Guangdong. People often visit it in winter.
