A hundred steps towering green

Among the peaks in the southwest of Dongqian Lake, there are steep mountains, known as baibujian. It is also called Baibu sword because of its steep and strange appearance. It is said that those who can climb to the top of the mountain with a hundred steps will get a sword. It is said that in 1861, the Taiping Army stationed troops here.

"Hundred steps towering green" is one of the ten scenic spots around Dongqian Lake. Because of the mountains, such as the pyramid, known as "baibujian" and named.

All around the lake are mountains. Its southeast peaks and valleys are beautiful. The highest is Fuquan mountain. To the west of the mountain, there are several peaks. Among them, those who stand out from the peaks and look like pyramids from afar are called "baibujian". Its peak is like cangjian stabbing the sky, and its appearance is steep and strange, so it is also called "Baibu sword". Once upon a time, there were poems about "all the mountains are around their knees, and the high birds only soar around their waists" and "one mountain stands in all mountains, and the magnificent edges are leaning against the blue sky". There are also legends about its high and precipitous height, and it is said that those who can climb to the top of the mountain with a hundred steps can get a sword. A poet sighed:

It is the first mountain in Hunan;
