About legend
There is also a moving legend about the tower among the local people. Once upon a time, there was a minister who came down from the imperial court to inspect Dongshan mountain. When he looked up from the mountain, he saw tens of thousands of hectares of fertile land and rice waves rolling down the mountain. The minister could not help praising him repeatedly. Unexpectedly, a Feng Shui gentleman said to the minister, "I don't think so. I have seen that there is a green dragon below. The day when this green dragon ascends into the sky is the time when great calamity comes to the world, and this vast expanse of fertile land will be submerged by the flood. The only way to relieve the disaster is to build a geomantic pagoda to suppress qinglongshou, so as to keep the grain people in this area. ". After listening to Mr. Wang's words, the minister immediately reported to the imperial court and asked for special bank to build the "Zhenlong pagoda". Since then, it has been safe from generation to generation with abundant products. No wonder this place is known as "Wan'an" and "wan'ning".
