Architecture
The architectural style of the garden is quite different from that of the Chinese classical courtyard. The square top umbrella Pavilion group, more than ten broken columns, wall style Wisteria flower racks, children's sculptures and foreign murals all imitate the western style. Their colors, lines, lightness, conciseness and lightness, lively plane combination and wrong facade lines are compared and coordinated with the opposite high-rise buildings. layout
The layout of the park is quite new, with simple and bright colors. The buildings in the garden are of modern style, including square pavilions with flat roofs, broken columns, wall pergolas, wisteria veranda, "children's interest" sculptures, relief murals, large lawns, pools and springs, etc. In the southeast of the garden, there is a pool spring with an area of 900 square meters, with a water depth of 0.6 meters. It is equipped with nine nozzles and two arc springs. North of the pool is a square with an area of 430 square meters. The ground is paved with red clay bricks.
There are two groups of square flat top pavilions on the square, one in the south is connected by four pavilions, and the other in the north is a combination of three pavilions; the two groups of pavilions are scattered in height and different in size, all of which are reinforced concrete structures, with a total area of 96 square meters. There are more than ten broken reinforced concrete columns near the pool, which can give people a sense of "incomplete beauty". Several stone like benches are arranged near the pool, and trees and flowers are arranged around the pool and square. There is a large lawn covering an area of 1056 square meters in the west of the garden. In the north of the lawn, there is a stainless steel sculpture named "children's fun". The statue is a child standing upside down, 1.6m high, 1.95M long and 1m wide; the granite base is 0.2m high, 2.2m long and 1m wide. In the southwest of the garden, near the gate, there are two murals showing the scenery of the four seasons. The colors and lines of the murals are simple and bright. A painting in the east of Yuanlu is 4 meters long and 1.24 meters wide, inlaid on a 15.4 square meter red brick wall; a painting in the south of Yuanlu is 7 meters long and 1.24 meters wide, inlaid on a 28.6 square meter red brick wall. The wisteria shed in front of the mural is composed of five square shaped concrete columns.
Because the whole garden is located between the two roads, in order to block the invasion of dust, noise and northeast exhaust gas, Cinnamomum camphora, oleander, Rhododendron, Euonymus japonicus, hypericum and other ornamental plants are mainly planted along the road through the wall. The terrain in the garden is high in the north and low in the south, and flowers of all seasons are planted on both sides of the step-by-step path. There are 77 species and 3672 trees in the garden, the ratio of arbor to shrub is 1 ∶ 1.36, the ratio of evergreen to deciduous is 1 ∶ 0.55.
