Guangzhou Pumped Storage Hydropower Station Tourist Resort is located in Lutian Town, Conghua. The construction of the hydropower station was started in 1989 and completed in 12 years. The total investment is 6.5 billion yuan, covering 27 square kilometers. Construction reasons
Since the implementation of the special economic policy in Guangdong Province, the industrial and agricultural production has developed rapidly, the power load has increased sharply, the peak valley difference is wide, and the minimum load rate is low (b = 0.51); Guangdong power grid is mainly thermal power, while most of the thermal power units are high-temperature and high-pressure condensing coal-fired units with high minimum technical output, which should only be arranged in the base load operation; at the same time, after the Dayawan Nuclear Power Station is put into operation, it is necessary to start from Anya nuclear power plant The whole economy is only suitable for base load operation. Therefore, in order to increase the peak shaving capacity in the grid and cooperate with the construction of nuclear power and large capacity thermal power stations, it is urgent to build pumped storage power stations near Guangzhou, which is close to the load center. It is proved that the installed capacity of 1.2 million kW is suitable. After the power station is put into the system, it will play the role of peak load regulation and valley filling, so that the nuclear power station can run at full load for a long time, and the low valley power can be changed into peak load regulation power (the level in 2000 can change the low valley power of 3.138 billion kw · h into peak power of 2.38 billion kw · h), which can increase the income of power sales; it is more economical than the peak load regulation of thermal power; it can also improve the economic operation conditions of the system (the level in 2000 can save the annual operation cost, equivalent to about 10% of standard coal) The dynamic benefit, economic benefit and social benefit are very significant.
Design
Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station is composed of upper reservoir, diversion tunnel, upstream surge shaft, high pressure tunnel (pipeline), underground powerhouse system, tailrace surge shaft and tailrace tunnel. The normal water level of the upper reservoir and the lower reservoir are 810m and 283m respectively, the storage capacity is 17 million cubic meters and 17.5 million cubic meters respectively, and the effective storage capacity is 10 million cubic meters; the reinforced concrete face rockfill dam is adopted for the dam, the crest elevation is 813m and 286.3m respectively, the maximum dam height at the dam axis is 60m and 37m, the crest width is 8m, and the upstream and downstream dam slopes are 1:1.4. The upper reservoir adopts the side channel type bank spillway, the width of the side weir is 40m, the elevation of the weir top is flush with the normal pool level, and there is no gate to overflow freely; the right dam head of the lower reservoir is provided with two side channel type bank spillways with 9m width each, the elevation of the weir top is 281m, and the bottom outlet with 1m diameter is set on the left side of the spillway. The waterway system adopts the water supply (drainage) mode of one tunnel and four units; the length of the diversion tunnel from the water intake to the upstream surge shaft is about 925m, and the inner diameter of the lining is 9m; the upstream surge shaft adopts the impedance type, the inner diameter of the large shaft is 18m, the inner diameter of the connecting pipe is 9m, the maximum surge is 825m, and the minimum surge is 787.31m; the pressure tunnel adopts the inclined shaft layout after the surge shaft, and the first tunnel before entering the plant bifurcates into four adits, with a total length of 1395.4m, and the main pipe length is 1395.4m The inner diameter is 8.5-8m; four draft tubes are combined into one to enter the tailrace surge shaft, and the tailrace surge shaft is also of impedance type. The inner diameter of the large shaft is 20m, the inner diameter of the connecting pipe is 9m, the top elevation is 313M, and the bottom elevation is 250m; the length of the tailrace tunnel from the tailrace surge shaft to the downstream outlet is about 1230.7m, and the inner diameter of the lining is 9m.
Geological structure
The upper and lower reservoirs belong to Liuxi River system. The upper reservoir is located in Chenhedong basin in the upper reaches of zhaodashui River, with a rainfall collection area of 5 square kilometers above the dam site, an average annual flow of 0.209 cubic meters per second and an average annual runoff of 6.6 million cubic meters; the lower reservoir is located in Xiaoshan basin in the upper reaches of jiuqushui River, with a rainfall collection area of 13 square kilometers above the dam site, an average annual flow of 0.544 cubic meters per second and an average annual runoff of 17.16 million cubic meters. The topography of the upper reservoir is a natural reservoir basin. Most of the bedrock that constitutes the bottom and Bank of the reservoir is granite. Only a small amount of sand shale is distributed in the southeast corner of the right reservoir tail. They are in close contact with each other. Most of the faults are not wide and filled with well cemented tectonic rocks. Groundwater supplies the reservoir, so it will not leak out of the reservoir after impoundment. Although limestone is distributed at the bottom of the reservoir, it is surrounded by granite mountains and is a closed residual body; faults around the reservoir and leading to the outside of the reservoir are generally small in scale and well cemented; groundwater supplies the reservoir, so it will not leak out of the reservoir. The dam site of the upper reservoir has narrow valley, strong mountains on both sides, granite, single lithology, small-scale fault structure and superior geological conditions. The foundation stone of the lower reservoir is also granite, the alluvium of the river reservoir is thin, the fully and strongly weathered zone of the slopes on both banks is not deep, and the rock in the weakly weathered zone is hard. Although the faults are relatively developed, it still has good conditions for dam construction. According to the appraisal of the Seismological Bureau of Guangdong Province, the basic intensity of the earthquake in this power station area is 6 degrees. The lithology of the water diversion system is mainly medium coarse biotite granite with a small amount of lamprophyre veins and fine-grained granite veins. Large scale faults are NW trending faults such as F2, F4, f109, F110, etc. The geological conditions of the diversion tunnel are mainly controlled by faults and altered rocks. The route can be divided into four sections, the second and the fourth of which are the main ones. The lithology of underground powerhouse is also granite, so F4 fault, f179 and dense alteration zone should be avoided as far as possible.
