Chentuan temple is located in Chenzhuang, southern suburb of Bozhou City. It consists of Mountain Gate, stele Pavilion, main hall, back hall, left and right side halls and chentuan culture corridor. Inside the pavilion stands an ancient stele named "Xiyi's hometown" carved during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. On both sides of the pavilion stand the stele of "rebuilding Xiyi's hometown", the stele of "Research on the origin and development of Chen Tuan" and the stele of "Macao's Chen people returning to their hometown and recognizing their ancestry". The new sitting statue of Mr. Xiyi in the hall is elegant and intelligent, which makes people respect. The couplet of the main hall is: Yili Bao Tiandi, Qigui Guan ancient and modern. Chen Tuan (871-989) was born in Bozhou. He was named Tunan, fuyaozi, Mr. Baiyun and Mr. Xiyi. He was one of the most important figures in the history of Taoism. He is a fellow of Laozi, the founder of Taoism. At that time, Taoist disciples all called Chen Tuan the ancestor of Chen Tuan. He was the supreme Taoist figure after Laozi and Zhangling. In the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty, he was a Taoist and academic master. In his later years, he lived in jiushiyan of Wudang Mountain, moved to Yuntai Temple of Huashan Mountain, and wrote many works.

The birthplace of Chen Tuan, the hometown of Xiyi, is chenjiaying village on the South Bank of Tanghe River in the Southern Song Dynasty in Qiaocheng District of Bozhou. In memory of Chen Tuan, later generations built a temple in his former residence to offer sacrifices, and both his former residence and temple were destroyed. In 2007, Bozhou municipal government invested in reconstruction. In 2010, it was rated as "AAA tourist attraction" by the national tourist attraction quality rating committee.

Chen Tuan
Chen Tuan (871-989), whose name is Tu Nan, was named fuyaozi by himself, Mr. Baiyun and Mr. Xiyi by bestowal. He was a Chinese Taoist thinker, philosopher, Neidan scholar, Taiji Culture descendant, and a forerunner of Neo Confucianism in Song Dynasty. At the same time, he was a teacher of the Taoists in Mayi, engaged in the study of Yi, and engaged in activities in Tianqing temple and Laojun Pavilion in Heming mountain. In the last years of the Late Jin Dynasty (947), he visited Mount Emei to give lectures, known as "Emei immortal". In 956, Emperor Shizong summoned him to serve as a "remonstrant official" and granted him "Mr. Baiyun" after he dismissed his official duties. In the first year of song Taizu (960), "Taizu called, not to", in order to show his lifelong ambition of not being an official. In 977, Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty entered the palace in response to the imperial edict and offered "far and near importance" to help the world and the people, that is, "to recruit sages far away, to remove courtiers near, to bestow light on the people, and to reward the three armies." In the ninth year of Taiping's rejuvenation of the country (984), he once again accepted the imperial edict to enter the palace, still expressing his lifelong ambition of not being an official. As a result, Emperor Taizong was granted "Mr. Xiyi" because of his outstanding academic achievements in Confucianism and Taoism, and his lack of wealth and wealth. In the second year of Duangong, Emperor Taizong of Song Dynasty (989), on July 22 of the lunar calendar, he died in the stone room of zhangchaogu in Huashan. He was 118 years old.
