Maolangou National Forest Park is located in the northeast of Heilongjiang Province, the north foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, Xiangyang Township of Jiayin County, 76 kilometers away from the county. It is connected with Wuyiling vanguard farm in the West and south, Wuyun town in the north and Heilongjiang Province in the East. The whole forest park covers an area of 60 square kilometers. The scenic spots include Maolan waterfall, Heilongtan, xiannvchi, Taizi peak, xiongtou peak, Gezi peak, shitouren, Shipo, zhentanshi and danfengquan. Maolan Valley is the most spectacular natural landscape of stone forest group in Yichun City, known as "Jiuzhaigou" in Heilongjiang Province.

Historical evolution

In 1992, maolangou National Forest Park was built. Maolanggou National Forest Park, formerly known as "maolanggou", was named for its deep stream, lush forest and frequent haunts of wolves, insects, tigers and leopards. Later, it was renamed "maolangou" because of its beautiful scenery and homonym of "cat and Wolf".

In November 2001, maolangou was approved as a national forest park by the state.

In March 2003, it was approved as a provincial nature reserve.

In November 2003, it was approved as AA grade scenic spot.

In December 2006, it was approved as AAA tourist attraction.

The main river in the park is maolangou River, which is 16.2km long in the area. It originates from Wuziqi Dagang in Xiaoxing'anling mountains in the west of the park and flows into Heilongjiang from southwest to northeast. Maolangou is a geological and geomorphic complex represented by Indosinian granite tectonic peak forest landform, quaternary periglacial landform and Neotectonic collapse landform. It is the only geological relic of granite canyon with the most complete type, the most typical development and the most abundant shape found in Xiaoxing'an Mountains, and also a typical representative of Indosinian granite tectonic Canyon geological relic.

Maolangou National Forest Park is located in the forest sea of Xiaoxing'anling, 67 kilometers away from Jiayin county. Jiangmaolangou National Forest Park always adheres to the construction concept of "keep the original appearance, no carving", and pays attention to the protection of the original landscape. The construction content is mainly to build trestles, iron rope handrails, pavilions, pavilions for visitors to enjoy and rest around the scenic spots, and strive for the original appearance and flavor. Over the past few years, a total of 19.5929 million yuan has been invested in hardening 2.5 kilometers of roads, installing 8 wide-angle scenic spots, repairing 5 kilometers of trails, hardening 11000 square meters of parking lots, completing the characteristic gate project and tourist reception center project of the scenic spot, erecting 3 unique cable bridges across the River, 2 water trestles, 8 small bridges across the river, building and transforming 4 public toilets, and adding fixed and portable toilets There are 56 mobile dustbins, a new set of water supply system, in which the well is 65 meters deep, and a new bonfire pool, covering an area of 810 square meters. More than 350 pieces of forest science popularization billboards, tree name plates, plant signs, scenic spots signs and warning signs have been produced.

① Strive to create a national ecological civilization education base, carry out various activities in the park that are beneficial to people's physical and mental health and promote the harmony between man and nature, and vigorously establish and spread the concept of ecological civilization.

② In spring, evergreen seedlings such as Pinus koraiensis and spruce are planted on both sides of tourist roads and footpaths to enhance off-season ornamental.

③ In order to improve the landscape quality of forest vegetation in the existing scenic area, improve the scenic recreational value of the forest stand, and promote the growth and reproduction of the target tree species, some inferior trees in the park should be transformed and rare greening tree species should be replanted.

④ In order to enhance the interest and knowledge of the website, we should increase publicity efforts, timely update the content of the park sub station on the website of China forest tourism network and the State Forestry Administration, and increase the publicity pictures of Park science knowledge.

Scenic Spot Tourism

The core area of maolangou scenic spot is Maolan gorge, which is a structural gorge formed by crustal changes. It extends from west to northeast and is about 2 km long. It originates from Maolan River in Dagang of Wuziqi and flows through the gorge.

Xiannuchi fracture

The strike of the fault is NNW, and the primary joint plane of the rocks on both sides of the fault is displaced, and the movement distance is about 2m. Xiannuchi was formed at the intersection of maolangou fault and xiannuchi fault. The rock was easy to break and accumulated water.

Woji ANGA

Oroqen nationality is a hunting nationality, and its traditional residence "xianrenzhu" also shows the characteristics of hunting nationality. "Immortal column" is Oroqen language, which means "wooden house". It is a simple house built with wooden poles and birch bark or animal skin. It is similar to the house of American Indians. It is easy to dismantle and is suitable for hunting life. The furnishings in the "fairy pillar" are very simple. Besides sleeping, they are all necessary living and production supplies.

Stone old woman

Located on the hillside of 266.5 highland in the middle reaches of Maolan River, there is a bust made of several natural boulders. Its head, neck and trunk are very clear, which is as lifelike as artificial carving. The bust is about 40m high, with an area of 35m2 and a maximum perimeter of 12m. The main body of the stone old woman is composed of three rocks, which respectively constitute the head, body and lower part of the old woman. After spherical weathering, four groups of joint surfaces in the direction of the rock form a smooth body curve and an image of the head outline. At the same time, two detached bodies formed by dark minerals on the top of the rock are easy to be weathered and eroded, forming two pits.

Wild pigeon peak

It is located in the middle reaches of Maolan River, between the deep canyons on both sides of Maolan valley. The relative height is 110 meters. There are hundreds of wild pigeons on the peak, which are inseparable in all seasons. When they circle around the peak, whistling echoes in the blue sky, when they glide in deep valleys and streams, groups of foraging carnival. People admire the wild pigeon's romantic bold and unconstrained, and write such a poem in the pavilion: "the fragrant nest tends to be built on the Qifeng mountain, and the beautiful water flows only along the deep gully.".

Black Dragon Pool

Under the waterfall lies the deep pool, which is called Heilong pool. The water is green and deep, cold and misty. It is like a fairyland. If it is autumn, the sky is high, the clouds are light, the forests are dyed, the mountains are red, the blue sky, the white clouds, and the "Wuhua mountain" of red, yellow, blue, green and orange are reflected on the black dragon pool, the pool water will immediately turn into a strange and magnificent "colorful Lake".

Maolan waterfall

Maolan waterfall is about 20 meters high, 14 meters wide and 15.1 meters in fall. It is always surging in all seasons.
