Huading National Forest Park is located on the main peak of Tiantai Mountain (1098 meters above sea level). There are abundant plant resources in the garden. Huading Yunjin Rhododendron is a 100 year old original Rhododendron forest covering an area of 300 mu. It blooms in May every year. Zhejiang Huading National Forest Park is the center of Tiantai Mountain National Scenic Area, covering an area of about 58000 mu. It has 72 peaks, such as the Chiba flower. Yunjin Rhododendron forest: around Huading Sutra worship platform, summer resort and Huading temple, there are widely distributed Yunjin rhododendrons in high mountains, which gather in Guiyun cave and Sutra worship platform. The trees are more than Zhang high, over 100 years old, simple and vigorous, with luxuriant branches and leaves. In May every year, the bright red and yellow flowers compete to open. The flowers are big and gorgeous. There are thousands of flowers in a tree, and the vast area is tens of mu. It looks like a beautiful and rosy cloud. The ancient trees, the wide area and the flourishing flowers are rare in Zhejiang Province. It is a great plant wonder in Tiantai Mountain.

Huangshan pine forest: the Huangshan pine forest from guiyunfeng to baijingtai has been tempered by cloud and fog, ice and snow, and wind and cold. It is full of shade and green. It has a thousand unique crowns and various forms. It either stands on the top of the peak, or roots in the stone gap, or breaks the stone. It is vigorous and straight, or twigs are coiled. The crown is like a flag, spread like an umbrella cover, or gathered or scattered. It has a very high aesthetic value. It is a rare scenic forest in the forest park and the cradle of famous pines in Tiantai Mountain.

Ancient Cryptomeria forest: around Huading temple and summer resort at an altitude of 900 meters, it is an ancient Cryptomeria forest with thick shade. On the top of Huading at the beginning, you can see the ancient trees, the old cadres, the clouds, the fog, the green, the birds, the squirrels, the flowers, the ancient temples, the villa, the beautiful spirits, the fairyland and the clean forest. Every August and September, white terminal panicles are blooming with pure fragrance and elegance; the breeze is blowing and the flower branches are swaying, just like white clouds floating in the vast Valley, giving people a broad, clean and elegant beauty. It is another characteristic plant landscape of the forest park. Moreover, it is rare in Zhejiang that such a set of students can strongly show the spectacular group landscape.

There are many kinds of ancient and famous trees in the forest park, and they are rare, rare and unique. There are ancient pines, ancient bamboo cypresses, ancient Cryptomeria fortunei, Rhododendron on Jinfeng, rare Zhejiang qizihua, Cyclocarya paliurus, Carpinus Tiantai, etc. They are either surrounded by mountain dwellings and temples to form deep forest and secluded temples, which make the mountain dwellings and temples solemn, beautiful and full of aura; or they are displayed in front of tourists with their respective graceful shapes and postures of tall and straight, vigorous and qiuzhipanjie.

There are more than 50 strange peaks, rocks, waterfalls and caves: Huading, Guiyun and Tianzhu; Dharma protector turtle, xizhibi, Ganoderma lucidum, Chilong Yuxi, yulongxizhu, Nuwa, longchuang and Longmen; Shiliang waterfall, xiaotonghuliao and tiejianquan; Huangjing cave and Guiyun cave; Huize lake, Shuanglong Lake and frog singing Lake; Fangguang Jinxi River Valley Scenery and Huading sunrise, sea of clouds, Wusong, Yusong and other meteorological landscape.

Huading Guiyun is located in the south of Huading peak, which is closely connected with Huading. There is a small hole "Guiyun cave" on the south slope of Huading peak. Guiyunfeng cloud view is the best place for Tiantai Mountain scenic spot. It's cloudy and dense in the morning and evening here. It's often sunny. Suddenly, the vast white clouds roll in front of Guiyun cave and rush. The top of the peaks around is like islands floating on the sea. It's wonderful. The clouds gather thicker and thicker here, as if they belong to Guiyun cave. Therefore, this peak is also called Guiyun peak.

Huafeng peak: the main peak of Tiantai Mountain, 1098 meters high, famous for Xiufeng, historic sites, famous tea and exotic flowers. Looking around from the top of the mountain, the peaks are surrounded by Huading, which looks like a lotus. The green mountains and green peaks are magnificent. The highest peak is said to be the place where the ancient eminent monk Zhimo read scriptures to the west, so it is called the "Sutra worship platform". This is the best place to watch the sun and enjoy the clouds.

Shiliang waterfall is one of the best scenic spots in Huading National Forest Park. Shiliang, originally called Shiqiao, is naturally formed. Two cliffs face each other. A huge stone stretches across the sky. It is about 7 meters long and 2 meters thick. It is not as wide as a beam, so it is called Shiliang. The upstream stream forms a group of waterfalls under Zhanfeng bridge. It breaks through the Liangdong cave three times and falls from the 30 meter cliff to BIHONG lake. Its color is like frost and snow, and its potential is like galloping horse, so it is called "snow waterfall" because it is 3000 feet of ice and snow and 12 hours of thunder and wind. In case of heavy rain, flash floods, waterfalls through the beam, such as the Milky way, extremely magnificent. There are more than 30 cliff carvings around the waterfall. There are "Shiliang waterfall" written by Kang Youwei, the "first wonder" written by Mi Fu of Song Dynasty, the "waterfall hanging waterfall" written by Ganyu of Ming Dynasty, and the "Grand View" written by Shi Lun. It is said that Xu Xiake, a famous Traveler in Ming Dynasty, once walked on the beam.

The Ligu valley of Jinxi is a Y-shaped valley. The bottom of the valley is exposed, and the water is clear. Huize, Weiming, Yingbi, Yueya and other secluded pools are scattered among them. The river bed, beach and the peaks on the river bank are rugged, like lions and elephants, like cattle and horses, like dragons and tigers, like Weng and monks. On both sides of the valley, there are overlapping cliffs and peaks, like a green screen; a clear stream bends with the mountain, and the mountain is like a landscape painting.

Most of them are temple sites and cliff stone carvings. For example, Huading temple, Fangguang temple and other ancient temple buildings; Taibai reading hall, pharmacist, Changchun, qianyun, Tianzhu nunnery and other Maopeng; the cliff stone carvings around the Shiliang Waterfall (most of the carvings praise the beautiful scenery of the Shiliang waterfall or record tours), there are 32 inscriptions by the great calligrapher Mi Fu of the Song Dynasty, Jinshi Gan Yu of the Ming Dynasty, Cao Lun of the Qing Dynasty, Kang Youwei of modern times, etc.; there are also 32 inscriptions by worshippers of Sutra and Ge Xuanchapu, WangXiZhi ink pool, longguajing, etc.

Huading temple, formerly known as Huading Jueyuan Daochang, was built by Seng de Yun in the first year of Tianfu (936) in the later Jin Dynasty, and was improved in the third year of Zhiping (1066) in the Song Dynasty. After several fires, it has a huge hall. It is surrounded by green trees, ancient trees and elegant environment. The temple seat faces south to the north, with beautiful scenery. In front of the temple, there are six giant Cryptomeria fortunei trees, which are massive, towering into the clouds, more than eight feet high and surrounded by three people in diameter.

The bronze Hall of five hundred Arhats is 1.3 meters high and 0.6 meters wide. On the inner wall of the hall, there are five hundred Arhats, fifty-two characters on the appendix and fifty-two characters on the left and right walls. It is exquisitely carved with extraordinary craftsmanship.

Huading Temple

Huadingshuo temple was built in the first year of Tianfu (936) of the later Jin Dynasty. It was built by Deshao, the second ancestor of fayan sect of Zen. It was originally named huadingyuanjue Daochang. Before that, when master Nan Chen Zhiren first entered Tiantai Mountain, he once settled here to practice Buddhism. There are several big willow trees in front of the temple. They are more than 30 meters high. The diameter at breast height must be embraced by three people. The old trunk is erect, lush and towering into the sky.

The statue of Buddha, 4.5 meters high and 7.8 tons heavy, is made of bronze. On both sides of the wall, there are 16 carved wall carvings, which are rich in Wei Jin style. On the top of the wall carving, there is a Buddha niche hanging on the beam, inside which there are thousands of bronze Buddhas. The vivid image makes the main hall become the hall of thousands of Buddhas. At the left rear of the hall is the hall of wise masters, which worships the wise masters.

Rhododendron fortunei

At Huading in May, hundreds of mu of rhododendrons are blooming, forming a sea of colorful flowers. From afar, they look like brocade and rosy clouds. This is why Rhododendron Yunjin is named.

Rhododendron Yunjin, formerly known as "Suoluo", belongs to the family rhododendraceae and is a rare and precious tree species endemic to China. With a forest area of nearly 300 mu, and trees over 200 years old forming ancient tree groups, Tiantai Huading is the only one unique, which can be regarded as a major plant wonder in Tiantai Mountain.

Rhododendron huadingyunjin is an evergreen, tall shrub, about four or five meters high, with round crown, clear trunk and side branches. The leaves are leathery, similar to those of Nerium indicum, dark green and glossy on the front, and goose yellow hairs on the back. The flower buds are shaped like pigeon eggs, containing 7-13 small flower buds and terminal umbels. From July of the first year to May of the next year, they are full of "October pregnancy". Before and after the beginning of summer every year, purple and pink flowers compete to open. It is composed of more than ten small flowers, a flower ball as big as a bowl, a tree with thousands of flowers, like peony, peony and hibiscus. It is gorgeous and fragrant.
