Main attractions
Nanfengzao
Nanfengzao was built in the middle of Zhengde (1506-1521) of Ming Dynasty. It has been preserved for nearly 500 years as a national important cultural relic. It is the oldest Jiaolong kiln in the world. The name of the dragon kiln originated from the kiln. It was built close to the mountain. It was 234.4 meters long and 30.87 meters long inside. It was like a dragon descending from the masses, so its people called it "dragon kiln". However, the people of Shiwan are also called "Zao." In Longyao, people who use firewood at the end of the kiln are just like the old stove where firewood is used for cooking, and all the pottery is made in Longyao. They feel that Longyao is still the "stove" of the family. In addition, the mouth of the dragon kiln is facing the south, and the end of the stove is covered with banyan trees. It is cool every summer, so it is called "Nanfeng stove".
Gaozao
Gaozao was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. With a total length of 32 meters, gaozao is a key cultural relic protection unit in China. The structure and operation method of gaozao is the same as that of nanfengzao. The name of "gaozao" is "gaozao" because the kiln is built behind the Gaomiao temple. The kiln owner hopes that it can carry on the prosperous incense of the Gaomiao temple, so it is called "gaozao".
Gaomiao
Gaomiao temple was built in the Qing Dynasty, also known as "Fushan Temple". It worships emperor tiananwu of Beiji town and is "distinguished" with Lingying Temple (ancestral temple) in Foshan. There are 12 inscriptions in the temple, which are the material evidence of the historical development of Shiwan Town. Later, due to the fire, only the partial hall is kept.
Lin Jia Ting
It was built in the Ming Dynasty. At first, it was the Lin family temple. During the reign of emperor Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty (1796-1820), Lin Shaoguang (Jiaqing Bingchen Jinshi), Lin Longguang (Qianlong Renzi Township examination Juren) and Lin Jinguang (Jiaqing Wuchen Township examination Juren) changed the family temple into a living room, which was called the Lin family hall. Deep three into, the same courtyard, pavilion, wing room, etc., is a distinctive ancestral hall residential building.
