Qianzhu house is one of the scenic spots of Dongbai Lake in Zhuji City. Qianzhu house, built by Si Yuanru in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1798), is located in Si Zhai village (jisifan natural village). It is now inhabited by descendants of Si family. It's named after the house with thousands of pillars.

Qianzhu house was built by Si Yuanru. Si Yuan Ru (753-1832), the word wing saint. Taisheng, Yixu Dengshi Lang. Daoguang two years (1822) 70 years old, Jing "five generations together.". The county test shed was built between Daoguang, and two thousand gold was lost. According to the order, we will build "Leshan Haoshi square".

Qianzhu house faces north and south, with a width of 124 meters and a depth of 60 meters. It has five double eaves gatehouses. All of them are decorated with stone or brick carvings. All of them are made of blue stone and brick carvings. They are engraved with figures and landscapes. They are vivid and exquisite. There are 5 longitudinal axes and 3 transverse axes in the building, which is a courtyard type group layout, covering a total area of about 7400 square meters. It is said that there are 121 rooms and more than 1200 columns in the house. The doors are numerous and orderly. The thousand column house takes the main hall as the central axis, and there are 8 quadrangles and 10 patios on both sides. The courtyards are connected by eaves and corridors. The main hall of Qianzhu house is engraved with the four characters "Yusi Weisheng". The door is decorated with brick figures, landscapes, dragons and phoenixes. The main hall is the gate building, which is a five frame lifting structure. There are conggui hall, shuanghuai hall, Fushou hall and Renshou hall on both sides of the main hall. The name of kaishu hall is engraved on the wall with bluestone. Today, there are still many plaques such as "Xiaolian Fangzheng", "Tongguan Chonghui", "yizhitingxiu Xuan", "Shijian Tingsong hall". There are brick carvings on the wall of the main hall. It is made of 21 blue brick reliefs with a length of 0.34 meters and a width of 0.30 meters, with a total length of 7.04 meters. The whole picture is intricate and unique

Birthplace

Faxiangju is named for the gate of "long hair and auspicious" in the hall, commonly known as "xiaxinwu". Built in 1802, it is the residence of Yuanren, the brother of Si Yuanru. look south. It is 59.4 meters wide from east to west and 54.80 meters deep from north to south, covering an area of 3255 square meters. The central axis is the center of the plane, and the symmetrical layout is made. The central axis building has three entrances, which are the gatehouse (house), the hall and the block building in turn. On the left and right sides are the East and West Wing buildings with side doors. The East and West Wing buildings and the central axis of the building are connected by corridors and pavilions, but they are relatively independent, forming a semi closed courtyard pattern. With unique design skills, reasonable layout and exquisite workmanship, the birthplace has fine wood carving techniques and various means. The village is rich in content, decorated with brick and stone carvings. The whole building is like a palace of carving.

Bifeng Academy

Hundreds of meters up from the back of the Qianzhu house, there is the Bifeng book house, which is "the victory of Linquan, the best in Yiyi". It was built by Si Yuanru for his family's children to study the works of sages, and later became the primary school of the village. According to Guangxu's Zhuji county annals, Fang Zhai annals: "Bifeng library is at the foot of songxiao Bay. The mountain and the water are winding and deep. There are red and white azalea, rose, peach, apricot, plum and willow in front of the gate. There are three floors, facing the five old peaks. There is also a small pool, water gushing from the stone dragon's kiss. The victory of Linquan lies in one city. Most of them still exist today. There are two pagoda trees in front of the door of the study. They are old branches, curly and lying, like a green lion and a white elephant. They are rare ancient and famous trees, which are of great ornamental value. The ancient trees in front of the house are towering. Despite the vicissitudes, they are still green and full of vitality. A private school that is a descendant of skrjabini. Although the area is less than one tenth of that of Qianzhu house, it is precisely because of this book house that the traditional idea of "farming, reading and inheriting" of Sizhai people has a realistic carrier

On both sides of the road leading to Bifeng college, Ziwei, Longbai, Photinia and other valuable flowers and trees are full of green and vitality. About 50 meters away from the college, there are two giant Podocarpus trees. In front of the college, there are two pagoda trees, one on the left is like a lion, the other on the right is like an elephant. The flowers and trees are stacked layer upon layer, adding a sense of serenity. The sound of reading comes from the tranquility, echoing the pleasant spring from the distance, and perhaps the melodious sound of the evening bell looms. In the face of the pale moonlight spread on the desolate academy, perhaps, Si Yuanru made a solemn wish to carve the deepest trace in the core of the soul, so as to let future generations read well.

Bifeng book house and Qianzhu house were built at the same time. It was a family school specially built by Si family for their descendants to study. The classroom is located on the upper floor. It is said that there were no stairs in the early days. When students came to the classroom, they had to climb from the bamboo ladder to the upper floor. When they were studying, they removed the bamboo ladder until school was over. Students are not allowed to come down when they are reading in the daytime. The purpose is to let the children have no distractions, do not listen to the things outside the window, and read the sages' books at ease. It can be seen from this that the Si family attaches great importance to reading, and it can be seen from this that the ancestors of the Si family have made great efforts.
