In February 2020, to pay tribute to the medical workers, Jiulongjiang National Forest Park in Hunan Province will implement free admission tour for medical workers and rural (community) grassroots cadres who visit the scenic spot from December 31, 2020 after the resumption of business after the end of the epidemic.

hydrographic features
All the streams in Jiulongjiang Forest Park belong to the mountainous rivers of the secondary tributaries of Beijiang River in the Pearl River system. The main rivers in the East are Jiulongjiang River and its tributaries, and the main rivers in the West are hemp River and its tributaries. Among them, Jiulong River is about 20 kilometers long in the forest park, with a maximum drop of 800 meters, a canyon depth of 450 meters, a controlled drainage area of 104.71 square kilometers, and seven tributaries over 5 kilometers. Hemp Creek originates from daijiaoling in Daping Town, flows through Chengxi, Jiaokeng, chenggouwan and Liangjiangkou, and goes south to Renhua county, Guangdong Province, where it meets Beijiang River. Hemp Creek is about 8 kilometers long in the forest park, with a drop of 135 meters. It controls a drainage area of 45 square kilometers, with three main tributaries.

The plants are clematis, Cymbidium, Celastrus angustifolia, Litsea angustifolia, Rhododendron fortunei, rattan of South China, etc. Among them, there are 5 species of plants under national class I protection, namely Ginkgo biloba, Taxus chinensis var. mairei, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, cypress and Cycas Cycas. There are 15 species under national class II protection, namely Pinus koraiensis, Lianxiang tree, Phoebe, Cymbidium chinense, Liriodendron chinense, camphor, Cephalotaxus castor, Fokienia hodginsii, Magnolia officinalis, Magnolia officinalis, South China five needle pine, beech, Phoebe bournei, Camptotheca acuminata, palm, etc.
Animal resources
There are 256 species of wild vertebrates in Jiulongjiang Forest Park of Hunan Province, among which 12 species are under the state class II protection, namely, giant salamander, pangolin, Sumen antelope, red bellied pheasant, jackal, otter, kite, grass swan, long eared Swan and songbird eagle.
Main attractions
Jiulongqiyan scenic spot is the core scenic spot of Hunan Jiulongjiang National Forest Park. It is surrounded by the high mountain landscape belt of Jiulong Waterfall Scenic Spot in the north and reaches Jiulong Waterfall Scenic Spot in the south, covering an area of 2298.78 hectares. There are Qingyun lake, turtle Xiaotian, Guanyin zuolinian, Xiangui mountain patrol, millennium old tree stump, Longtan waterfall, Yulian waterfall, bishuitan waterfall and other scenic spots.
Jiulong Waterfall Scenic Spot is located in the north of Jiulongjiang National Forest Park in Hunan Province, bordering hot water town in the East and Jiulong water playing scenic spot in the south. It extends to the north gate in the north, around the core landscape area, and reaches Guanyin chongshuwo, covering an area of 1279.81 hectares.
