Luoyang Longmen Ocean Museum

Luoyang Longmen Ocean Museum

Longmen aquarium is located on the west side of Longmen Avenue in Luoyang, the capital of the millennium. It is one of the largest marine museums in China. It is 1.5km away from Guanlin, the first of China's three Guanmiao temples, in the north and 2.5km away from the World Cultural Heritage Longmen Grottoes scenic spot in the South.

With a construction area of more than 10000 square meters, the museum has nine theme exhibition areas, including amphibious reptile area, rainforest wonder area, wetland ecological area, mangrove ecological area, intimate contact area, coral reef ecological area, deep sea ecological area (undersea tunnel), Sea Lion Performance Hall and Ocean theater, as well as two auxiliary functional areas, namely sea view restaurant and ocean shopping mall. More than 300 kinds of freshwater and marine organisms and more than 30000 tails were displayed.

Ticket information

70 yuan / person; one big one small parent-child ticket: 110 yuan. Children and students between 1.1-1.4 meters in height should have 40 yuan per person with student ID; officers in active service, the disabled and the elderly over 60 should have 40 yuan per person with valid ID; children under 1.1 meters in height are free of charge.

Luoyang Longmen aquarium is located at Litun intersection of Longmen Avenue, 10 kilometers south of Luoyang City, 1.5 kilometers away from Guanlin in the north and 2.5 kilometers away from Longmen Grottoes scenic spot, the world cultural heritage in the south.
