Yelang Cave Scenic Area

It is said that more than 2000 years ago, it was the summer palace of Yelang king. Yelang cave, with both land and water, can be called an underground museum. It is a natural scenic spot integrating the landscape of karst cave and the charm of national culture. In addition to the typical karst landform of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau, it is also surrounded by ancient Buyi villages near mountains and rivers. It is an ideal place to watch the karst landform and visit the primitive ecology. The festival activities of March 3 and June 6 of the lunar calendar, the custom of "catching up with the watch" of young Buyi men and women in love and other unique festival activities and national customs are priceless resources for tourism development of Yelang cave in Puli mountain. Yelang cave, 15 km and 17 km away from Guihuang highway and 320 national highway, is connected with Buyi stone ethnic scenic spot and Huangguoshu scenic spot, with a total area of 9 square kilometers. The scenic spot is a special karst cave group scenic spot in the world, which is composed of magical and spectacular Yelang cave, Shihua Cave, fengziyan cave, Xiangshui cave and other large and small karst caves, as well as unique karst landforms such as Tiankeng and Yanfeng Xieya.

The winding path leads to the secluded place. What's rare is that there are no bustling tourists here. You can enjoy the scenery of heaven and earth. Yelang cave is a huge overpass. The undercurrent gushes from the cave. It has been proved that the depth of the cave is more than 1000 meters, and the total height of the cave is nearly 100 meters. It is divided into three layers: the first layer is water cave, the second and third layers are dry cave.
