The bully and the government collude with each other to capture Guan Yu, and they want to kill the nine ethnic groups and root out Guan Yu's family. At that time, most of the people surnamed Guan in changpingli fled to the ancient village to seek refuge, but Yunchang's parents were too old to walk, so they threw themselves into the well. Later generations built a tower on the well in memory of his parents. After Guan Yu's death, in order to admire his virtue, villagers built ancestral temples to worship him.
