Guishan TV Tower, full name of Hubei Guishan radio and TV Tower, is the first reinforced concrete radio and TV transmission tower designed and constructed by our country in combination with tourism. The construction of the tower was started on December 16, 1981 and put into operation in June 1986. The tower is 221.2 meters high, with an elevation of 311.4 meters and a relative height of 280 meters. Guishan TV Tower is the first TV Tower in China. It is located at the top of Guishan mountain in Hanyang, Wuhan, and the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Han River. It is a famous tourist attraction and city landmark in Wuhan. Historical evolution

In 2005, the private Dongxing international travel agency in Wuhan rented the sightseeing part of the tower and invested more than 50 million yuan to renovate it. The tower body is a conical cylinder with a curved outline and a height of 221.2 meters.

The tower is round, 19.2 meters in diameter, with a total of 3 floors. One floor is used as a fire lookout platform, and the top is a sightseeing platform. In order to protect the antenna tower from wind, snow and atmospheric invasion, as well as maintenance safety, a glass steel cover is set outside for protection.

Guishan TV Tower is located on the top of Guishan mountain in Hanyang. It has become a scenic spot echoing the Yellow Crane Tower on the top of Sheshan mountain in Wuchang on the other side of the Yangtze River.

The building area of the tower is 918 square meters, including 704 square meters for tourism, which can receive 300 people at the same time.

The revolving restaurant rotates clockwise every 42 minutes.

The open-air observation platform at the top of the tower is the best place for sightseeing.

Wuhan Guishan TV Tower is equipped with the highest and largest LED large screen in China and officially opened on the evening of April 30, 2010.
