In addition to the garden green space, the main buildings of the memorial hall are the memorial hall of the martyrs (with a building area of 1709 square meters), the exhibition hall of the deeds of the martyrs (with a building area of 1452 square meters) and the martyrs' group sculpture "soul of mountains and rivers". The statue is 9.7 meters high and 6.8 meters wide, carved with Fushan granite, which is lifelike. On the right side of Shangping, there is also a monument with the names of 14949 martyrs engraved on it. On the right side of Xiaping is a hill with a memorial Pavilion carved with the word "Liufang" written by the famous calligrapher Wu Zhongqi. The layout of the garden is a three-level platform, with lawn paved on the slope of the platform, flower beds set at the platform, evergreen shrubs as hedges on the top platform, and evergreen trees such as Cedrus and Pinus nigra planted around. The design is neat and symmetrical, with the main body of the building, forming a unique contemporary memorial garden style.
The East and west of the martyrs' deeds exhibition hall are two-story buildings on both sides of the middle platform. The building area is 1452 square meters. The martyrs' deeds and cultural relics displayed in the museum are divided into five parts according to historical periods, with a total length of 245 meters. The first part belongs to the period of the first Civil Revolutionary War (1921-1927). It shows the deeds of martyrs such as Wang Jinmei and Deng Enming, representatives of the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Li Weinong, Second Secretary of the Qingdao municipal Party committee, and Hu Xinzhi, chief writer of Qingdao Citizen Daily. It reflects the historical traces of the workers' movement and strike struggle led by the martyrs in Qingdao in the early days of the founding of the party. In addition, it also shows the historical facts of the "May 29 massacre in Qingdao" in which Japanese imperialism and reactionary warlords colluded with each other to suppress the workers' turning movement and massacre workers. The second part belongs to the period of the second Civil Revolutionary War (1927-1937). The East exhibition hall displays the major historical events in the new period of socialist revolutionary construction and reform and opening up, as well as the heroic deeds of 70 famous martyrs.

On the eaves of the main hall is the name of the museum inscribed by the famous calligrapher Shu Tong: "Qingdao revolutionary martyrs memorial hall", which is thick and powerful with gold characters on a white background.
