Dahu town is located in the southeast of Haifeng County, Guangdong Province. It is the only coastal town in Haifeng County, adjacent to jieshiwan. Dahu town is located at the easternmost end of Haifeng County, adjacent to Jieshi Bay in the South China Sea. It borders Shangying town of Lufeng City on the East and Tianlong street of honghaiwan city on the West. The total area of Dahu town is 58 square kilometers, including 30 square kilometers of sea area and 28 square kilometers of land area. The main river dongxiluo river system flows around the area. Historical evolution

Because Dade and huzai are big villages in this area, they are collectively called "Dade huzai", so they are named "Dahu". Ming and Qing dynasties belong to the capital of gold and tin, with dadejiao. During the period of the Republic of China, it belongs to Chikeng six districts. After October 1949, it belonged to six districts. Dahu people's commune was established in April 1964. In March 1984, the people's commune was abolished and the district office was established.
