Founded by Northwest A & F University, China Agricultural History Museum is officially opened in the Expo Park of Northwest A & F University, with an exhibition area of 4000 square meters. It is the most systematic agricultural history museum in China. The agricultural history museum is divided into upper and lower floors, which is arranged in historical order. It is divided into six parts: "Department of primitive agriculture", "Department of agriculture of three generations", "Department of agriculture of Han and Tang Dynasties", "Department of agriculture of song and Yuan Dynasties", "Department of agriculture of Ming and Qing Dynasties" and "Department of modern agriculture". Among them, there are more than 2000 pieces of agricultural history objects such as agricultural tools, seeds and daily necessities, and more than 500 pieces of them are precious agricultural history cultural relics.

Plant seeds The most attractive thing here is the carbonized corn and other "grains". The "treasure of the town hall" is placed in the most prominent position in the first exhibition hall of the whole exhibition hall. This is the first time that these 22 kinds of plant seeds are intensively displayed. These seemingly ordinary black particles or powders are not strange at first sight, but they are all placed behind a magnifying glass. If you carefully observe them, you can see the clear grain of the husk.

It is understood that it is not easy to collect these seeds, among which three carbonized rice were encapsulated in a test tube. Wei Yongping said that this was obtained from an expert, and only a dozen seeds were unearthed at that time.

In the exhibition hall of pedal spinning wheel, a pedal spinning wheel attracts Wang Xin, a sophomore girl of agricultural science. After stepping on the pedal, this spinning wheel can spin automatically, and can spin 24 strands of cotton at a time.

"We bought it from a mountain village in Huxian County for 800 yuan. It's very advanced. It doesn't use oil or electricity. It's more scientific than a sewing machine. Besides spinning, it has many other functions. Many experts have been invited to identify its specific functions. Up to now, there is no final conclusion, and the time of its invention can't be verified. All we know is that it's called pedal spinning wheel." Wei Yongping told reporters that they have collected a lot of folk agricultural implements like this, some of which have been used for thousands of years, which shows the wisdom of the ancients.

Our museum has 285, and 28 of them are rare books, including classics such as the complete book of agricultural administration."
