brief introduction
The main building monument, 10 meters high, is of brick and stone structure and square shape. The front of the monument is engraved with "monument to revolutionary martyrs in Lianjiang county", with Yang characters in regular script. The other three sides are respectively engraved with inscriptions by Ye Fei, former Secretary of the CPC Provincial Committee, Lianjiang county committee of the CPC and Lianjiang county people's government. Four red stars are set on four sides of the top of the stele. A platform is set around the stele and a guardrail is set around the stele. The martyr's tomb tower is built at the rear of the monument, with a brick round body and a semicircular top, where some of the remains of martyrs who died in the Agrarian Revolutionary War are placed. In front of the monument, a pavilion is built. It is of wood structure, hexagonal, 4.5 meters high, with a floor area of 16.32 square meters. It has a sharp top and a cornice with a maximum slope of 60 degrees. The tile surface is paved by hanging nails. The ridge and groove are connected by lime. The angle is made of Chinese Fir with similar curved shape, split into elephant trunk shape, supporting the cornice and flat ceiling, forming a well shape. The plane of the caisson is made into a hexagonal pattern with wooden strips. At the bottom of the top, there is a lotus seat, a hexagonal lotus lamp in the middle, and a red pearl on the top. It was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 1961. In 1987, the closed brick wall was changed into a transparent lattice short wall, and the green trees in the park became shade.
